Armed Security At Oscars Leads to Calls of Hypocrisy

While Hollywood actors and actresses lecture the American people on the need for gun control in America, one picture has surfaced that reveals them as weapons-grade hypocrites.

Oscars host and professional spontaneous crier Jimmy Kimmel took the opportunity Sunday night to urge viewers to join “the amazing students at Parkland” organizing the “March for Our Lives” gun control event planned later this month.

Other celebrities, such as Lin-Manuel Miranda, were seen sporting orange pins on the red carpet, a symbolic effort from the group Everytown for Gun Safety, a Bloomberg-backed group that fudges numbers to inflate mass shooting statistics.

Keala Settle, star of The Greatest Showman, also wore one of the orange pins on stage during her live performance.

As is typical in Hollywood, these elitists are all-too-ready to lecture you on gun control and curbing Second Amendment freedoms for the common citizen, but they’re certainly not willing to disarm themselves.

Here’s an image from the red carpet that drives home their extreme hypocrisy …

That’s the heavily armed security detail sweeping the area prior to these precious Hollywood snowflakes gracing us with their presence.

The Los Angeles Police Department used 500 armed security officers in “concentric ring” formations, along with barricades and walls for protection.

Why would liberals need guns and walls – one item personally responsible for deaths in America, and the other just extremely racist – to protect them?

“There’s definitely going to be an extensive police presence,” LAPD Officer Luis Garcia said prior to Sunday night’s festivities.

Were any of those officers sporting orange pins, do you think?

Movie stars enjoying the fruits of armed security while telling you to give up your guns. The hypocrisy knows no bounds.
