North Korea is threatening to pull out of the much-lauded “peace summit” to negotiate an easing of tensions with the United States. President Trump has agreed to be the first president to ever meet with a North Korean leader since the war nearly half a century ago.
Trump has already negotiated the release of three U.S. citizens being held in captivity by the North Koreans in the lead up to the summit. And President Trump has confirmed the meeting will take place in Singapore – the exact location we reported the historic meeting was likely to take place at.
But now it looks like the rogue nation, living up to its rule-breaking reputation, may pull out.
Fox News just broke the story:
North Korea announced it has canceled a high-level summit with South Korea and has threatened to cancel its meeting with the United States over American military drills with South Korea, Yonhap News said, citing KCNA.
KCNA, North Korea’s state media outlet, claimed that the military drills were a rehearsal for a potential invasion of the country.
The meeting between the neighboring countries was scheduled for Wednesday and to be held on the south side of Panmunjom, according to the report.

Canceling this meeting would be a huge mistake on North Korea’s part. It took a lot of work and negotiation to get to this point. To pull out now would spoil all of that hard work, especially when we’re so close to this historic moment.
Let’s hope a resolution can be found to solve this issue before the meeting is canceled.

Clearly the U.S. is not nor ever was interested in securing peace in the region and that is why they continue with the military exercises in South Korea. The real prize here is not North Korea but is China as China is currently making minced meat out of the U.S. dollar and is soon to take over as part of the trading world basket of currencies which will have the effect of collapsing the dollar. Now, how do you suppose those millions of NK troops are getting across the 25 mile DMZ which is riddled with all sorts of mines and explosive devices. Not to mention that their troops would be sitting ducks for South Korean and US missiles and air power. Outdated and non functioning equipment? Overrun by NK troops. You have got to be kidding. Where did you pick this up from a NK soldier? I do agree with you about military drills. Who in the world made that decision right before the most important meeting of the decade? I can’t see Mattis making that much of a mistake. This sounds like some back stabbing by the South Korean government out to sabotage the entire thing.

Nobody has to “accuse” Obama of “using”–he admitted it HIMSELF, on more than one occasoin–inveterate pot smoker and coke snorter. I always figured just a little thing like being President was not enough for him to quit, either.
My theory of why nobody seemed to know where he was the night of the Benghazi attacks was that he was either STONED ouf ot his gourd or COKED UP and did not DARE show his drug-addled FACE in the situation room when Benghazi was going down. But not to worrh–Valerie Jarrett–the REAL President in the Obama White House–was there giving orders–INCLUDING that infamous “stand down” order that all the military seems to remember, but NOBODY in the Obama White House that night can recall–because it was ILLEGALLY given by somebody who had NO AUTHORITY to give it.
