Winsome Sears, who will become the first black woman to hold the office of Lieutenant Governor in the Commonwealth of Virginia, poked fun at her detractors – namely ex-ESPN anchor Jemele Hill, MSNBC anchor Joy Reid, and the Lincoln Project.
Hill, having no other cards in her deck than the race card – at all times – pouted as Democrats went down in flames on election night, blaming the massive sweeping losses on “white supremacy.”
“It’s not the messaging, folks,” Hill tweeted early Wednesday morning. “This country simply loves white supremacy.”
Winsome, a Marine Corps veteran who came to the United States from Jamaica as a child, arrived at a different conclusion.
“We beg to differ,” a team account for Sears tweeted in reply, along with an image of the Lieutenant Governor-elect holding an AR-15 rifle.

Winsome Sears Roasts Joy Reid
Winsome Sears, demonstrating the kind of fire she will bring to her new role in office, took aim at Reid as well.
Reid repeatedly blamed white voters for the election results in Virginia, calling Republicans “dangerous” and suggesting their victory came about by “stoking that kind of soft, white nationalism.”
In an interview on Fox News, Sears challenged Reid to a debate, questioning whether or not the MSNBC host would be “woman enough” to do so.
“I wish Joy Reid would invite me on her show,” Sears said. “Let’s see if she’s woman enough to do that. I’d go in a heartbeat.”
“And we’d have a real discussion without Joy speaking about me behind my back, if you will,” Sears continued. “She talks about white supremacy. Does she know I ran against a white supremacist?”
“I mean Joy, come on,” she added. “Get your facts straight, and then come talk to me.”
.@WinsomeSears DESTROYS @JoyAnnReid over her calling Republicans white nationalists: “I wish Joy Reid would invite me on her show. Let’s see if she is woman enough…She talks about white supremacy. Does she know that I ran against a white supremacist?…I’m waiting for you.” pic.twitter.com/s89XrFD2RY

Sears then took to Twitter to let Reid know she’d “be patiently waiting for an invite to come on to your show to respond.”
She even offered to allow Reid to create a panel that could gang up on her.
“While we’re at it, let’s make it a panel and invite @jamelehill to join in some thoughtful dialogue!” she wrote.
Hey @JoyAnnReid, I heard your shameful comments. I’ll be patiently waiting for an invite to come on to your show to respond. Be well! ?? pic.twitter.com/KgzTDsm9Kg

Sears Hammers the Lincoln Project
The Lincoln Project wasn’t spared the wrath of Winsome Sears either.
You may recall the group of former Republican grifters staged an incident using fake white nationalists with their little tiki torches outside a campaign bus for GOP gubernatorial candidate Glenn Youngkin.

The ill-conceived hoax was meant to invoke memories of Charlottesville.
The campaign account on Twitter, following Sears’ victory, joked: “It’s a bad day to be @ProjectLincoln.”
The message was accompanied hilariously by a crying emoji.

Sears made history with her victory Tuesday, joining Governor-Elect Glenn Youngkin and Jason Miyares, who will become the first Latino to hold the office of Attorney General, as all three swept statewide offices, the first time a Republican has done so since 2009.
“I’m telling you that what you are looking at is the American dream,” Sears said during her victory speech.
“When I joined the Marine Corps, I was still a Jamaican. But this country had done so much for me, I was willing, willing, to die for this country,” she added.
Jemele Hill, Joy Reid, and the Lincoln Project don’t stand a chance.
