On Tuesday, New York State Attorney General Letitia James announced that after a four-month probe into allegations against New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, he was found to have sexually harassed multiple women.
Some of these women include past and current state employees, and in at least one case Cuomo was found to have sought retaliation against one of his accusers.

‘Cuomo And His Staff Fostered A Toxic Work Environment’
ABC News reported, “According to James, the probe found that Cuomo and his staff fostered a toxic work environment — though Cuomo has denied any wrongdoing and has sought in recent weeks to cast doubt on the integrity of the investigation.”
“Once considered a leading voice among national Democrats for his aggressive response to the coronavirus pandemic, Cuomo has suffered a meteoric fall from grace in recent months under a deluge of negative headlines,” ABC News noted.
The Political Insider reported Tuesday on the lead up to AG James’ findings: “New York Governor Andrew Cuomo was questioned by investigators in the state attorney general’s office for 11 hours according to a report by the New York Times.”
“The meeting, described by the newspaper as being ‘tense’ at times, comes after months of an independent investigation led by New York AG Letitia James regarding former and current female aides who have accused Cuomo of sexual harassment and misconduct.”

AG James Concludes Cuomo Harassed – Charges Coming?
According to the Times, “The videotaped interview lasted about 11 hours, and Mr. Cuomo faced a barrage of questions under oath about his treatment of women.”
In all, 10 women have accused Cuomo of various forms of sexual misconduct.
Arguably the most serious allegation was that of an unnamed female aide who said the governor groped her during her visit at the Executive Mansion in November.
The Times noted that James’ investigation appeared to be thorough, with investigators having “gathered hours of testimony from the women who have accused Mr. Cuomo of improper behavior, from hugs and inappropriate comments to unwanted kissing and touching.”
James did not announce whether or not charges are coming against Cuomo.
