New Poll Shows Most Voters Oppose Impeachment and Don’t Want Trump Removed From Office

A new poll released Tuesday shows a majority of voters oppose impeaching and removing President Donald Trump from office.

Good News for President Trump

A newly-released Quinnipiac University poll shows voters oppose removing the president from office by a 51-45 margin. When it comes to registered Independents, they oppose impeaching and removing Trump by a 52-44 margin.

This positive poll for the president came on the same day Democrats announced they would file two articles of impeachment against Trump. One charged him with abuse of power and the other with obstruction of Congress.

‘More than half of voters say that Trump should not be impeached’

“Today’s poll is the first time since House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced the inquiry that more than half of voters say that Trump should not be impeached,” Quinnipiac stated in its release of the poll results.

Quinnipiac polling analyst Tim Malloy said, “With Washington in turmoil and House Democrats poised to vote on impeaching the president for abuse of power and obstruction of Congress, American voters signal they are slightly more inclined not to impeach than to impeach.”

In an earlier Quinnipiac poll from November 26, registered voters opposed impeaching and removing Trump by a 48-45 margin.

Quinnipiac’s poll surveyed 1,553 registered voters, which had a margin of error of 2.5 percentage points.

Are Voters Fed Up?

This poll is the latest showing that since the impeachment inquiry began, American voters have been increasingly fed up with Democrats efforts to remove this president from office because they are still unhappy with the 2016 election.

Why not wait until 2020 and let the people decide if they want Donald Trump to remain in the White House?

House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff has already basically said the purpose of impeachment is to not let voters decide the results of the next election.

Expect Democrats to continue their ridiculous witch hunt, no matter how unsuccessful it is. Also, expect Trump’s support to grow in future polls precisely because his enemies have become so transparent.

When the history books are written regarding the 2020 presidential election, the Democrats’ impeachment inquiry into Donald Trump might be the best favor he ever received.
