We knew NBC was similar to state-run media when it comes to carrying the Democrat Party’s water, but now we know they’re willing to carry the water for North Korea as well.
In a bizarre report covering North Korea’s ‘preparations’ for the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics in South Korea, NBC’s Lester Holt sang the praises of the Kim Jong Un regime.
Holt admitted that the regime had taken over their reporting, essentially ‘crafting’ what they can and cannot report.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, he reported, “crafted much of the itinerary of where we can go and advising us on what they don’t frankly want us to shoot.”
Usually, it’s the Democrat Party that crafts their message.

As part of their ‘crafted’ message, Holt was sure to let everyone know that the North Korean regime has treated the cast and crew of NBC with “respect.”
“We have been treated with respect here,” he reported with all the conviction of a proof of life video.

Richard Grenell, the longest-serving U.S. spokesman at the United Nations during former President George W. Bush’s administration, gently reminded Holt what kind of regime he is dealing with. You know, the one that tortured and killed Otto Warmbier …
Otto Warmbier was tortured by the same people who play nice for your cameras. https://t.co/TqQPrTJiKJ

Seriously, NBC, if you want to impress the American consumer of news, try reporting on what’s actually happening to the people in North Korea.
Yes, the people treating you nice are under strict orders to treat you nice or they and their families will be tortured/killed.

@NBCNightlyNews Lester Holt and NBC, airing propaganda for North Korea on our airwaves. Vile and embarrassing.

But hey, that hard-hitting piece on ‘bunny slopes’ in North Korea is the stuff of journalism gold.
