MSNBC’s Mika Brzezinski Says Trump ‘Wants’ White Nationalist Violence

On MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” Tuesday, host Joe Scarborough said he was disappointed with Republicans’ lack of response to the horrible mass shooting tragedies in El Paso, Texas, and Dayton, Ohio.

But his co-host Mika Brzezinski took it a step further,  accusing President Donald Trump of wanting white nationalists to commit violence. Brzezinski said that she believed Trump incites hatred and violence, while also stoking racism when he does not denounce hate crimes.

‘You Have to Ask the Question’ (Do You Really?)

“You have to ask the question, Joe, and I’ll ask you. Isn’t it OK to deduce that at this point this is what he wants?” Brzezinski said. “He is inciting hatred, inciting violence, inciting racism.”

“If he doesn’t unequivocally call it off and say, this is wrong and we stand together against this and we are doing this, this and this to help fight hate crimes — I mean, this is a president who seems to want these things to happen,” she added. “How else can this be explained if he doesn’t call it off?”

Not only is this an absurd statement by Brzezinski, but it ignores something very important: Donald Trump already did denounce racism and white supremacy in particular in the wake of last weekend’s mass shootings.

How did the “journalists” on “Morning Joe” possibly miss this?

Do ‘Morning Joe’ Hosts Keep Up With the News?

“In one voice our nation must condemn racism, bigotry and white supremacy,” President Trump said at the White House on Monday. “These sinister ideologies must be defeated.”

“These barbaric slaughters are an assault upon our communities, an attack upon our nation and a crime against all of humanity,” he continued, referring to the mass shooting in El Paso on Saturday and the massacre in Dayton, Ohio on Sunday. The president also warned of “the perils of the internet and social media.”

The Left Will Never Accept Trump’s Denunciations of Racism and Violence No Matter How Many Times He Says It

How do we know President Trump doesn’t “want” to encourage white nationalist violence? Because he gave a speech Monday saying precisely the opposite of what Brzezinski accuses him.

President Trump denounced white supremacists and the violence they commit in no uncertain terms.

But will this be enough for the left? How many times does he have to do it before they stop telling lies?

Perhaps worst of all, will they ever even acknowledge it?
