As Donald Trump swept Super Tuesday, MSNBC anchors Jen Psaki, Joy Reid, and Rachel Maddow openly mocked Republican primary voters in Virginia for saying immigration was their top concern.

They made fun of voters while analyzing early exit polls.

Openly Mocking Voters Who Are Worried About Uncontrolled Immigration

The New York Post reports, “I live in Virginia. Immigration was the No. 1 issue,’ Psaki said, drawing laughter from (Joy Reid).”

“Well, Virginia does have a border with West Virginia, a — very contested area,’ Maddow sarcastically chimed in, setting off more chortles from her co-hosts,” the Post added.

In a later part of the discussion, Reid made a sweeping generalization, claiming that Republicans vote against their own economic interests due to racism and bigotry.

“They don’t vote based on economics, or based on the benefits they’re getting economically from the president,” she argued.

“They are voting on race; they are voting on this idea of an invasion of brown people over the border, the idea that they can’t get the job they want.”

The Post story continues:

Reid, who is black, further claimed that GOP supporters want to “drive all the black out of the colleges” and get rid of diversity, equity, and inclusion policies.

“They’re just voting specifically on racial animus at this stage. It isn’t about economics,” the host of MSNBC’s “The ReidOut” proclaimed, with Psaki nodding along in agreement.

Clueless Elites

Despite these MSNBC hosts dismissing a very real concern for everyday Americans, a recent Gallup poll showed that immigration has become a top concern among voters.

That poll released in late February showed that 28 percent of Americans listed immigration as their top concern, up from 20 percent in January.

This might be a trivial aside to MSNBC personalities to snicker about, but to the working class, they see a real problem that is not getting the attention it deserves.

These are the same types of hosts who are befuddled as to why Donald Trump is doing so well and their preferred candidate, democratic President Joe Biden, is doing so poorly.

They will continue to stick their heads in the sand, laughing it off throughout.

But come November, chances are they are in for a rude awakening.
