Fox News‘ conservative host Sean Hannity took direct aim at MSNBC’s Mika Brzezinski, along with Joe Scarborough and MSNBC President Andy Lack – for publicly floating an insane rumor that President Donald J. Trump is upset that he can’t get access to a special kind of “entertainment” in the White House.
Hannity opined, “Over there, conspiracy TV, MSNBC, there you go, liberal Joe and Mika, they can’t help themselves. Now usually Mika usually spends her mornings pushing untrue, absurd theories about the president’s mental health, with, of course, Joe Scarborough, who’s now the liberal, but today, she actually ventured out on her own and floated this insane rumor.”
What is this nutty rumor? That President Trump wishes he could watch porn in the White House, but can’t.
“Andy Lack, are you proud of that?” Hannity asked. “Is this what is so-called news over there at 30 Rock?”
“This is so insane, honestly, I can’t even bother,” Hannity noted.
It’s truly insane that MSNBC thinks it’s appropriate for their star morning hosts to promote such unsubstantiated rumors. Could you imagine what would happen if someone accused Barack or Michelle Obama of having a serious desire for pornography? But for Mike Brzezinski, sharing this “porn rumor” is treated like just another day at work. Still store from Trump outing her affair with co-host Joe Scarborough, nothing is off limits… Even accusing the President of the United States of something without proof. She knows it’s difficult to disprove a negative, so no matter what evidence exists to the contrary, the rumor was pushed just hard enough for the President’s opponents to spread among low-information voters. But that’s the whole point!
