Michelle Obama Speaks Out To Tell Voters To Ignore Trump’s ‘Conspiracy Theories’ About Mail-In Voting

For someone who constantly claims to hate politics, former First Lady Michelle Obama sure does love to talk about it a lot.

Michelle Obama Sends Message To Voters

This week, she did so once again when she spoke out to urge American voters not to believe President Donald Trump’s “conspiracy theories” about mail-in voting.

During an online event for her organization When We All Vote, Michelle told the actress Zendaya that “voting is easy, it is something we can do.”

“Don’t listen to people who say that somehow voting is rigged and your vote will get lost and it won’t be counted,” she said, according to Daily Mail.

“That is not true. So I don’t want people to be discouraged by those conspiracy theories that are being peddled out there about the validity of our election process because it’s just not true.”

Michelle has been working overtime in the hopes of ensuring that President Trump does not win this election.

Though her When We All Vote organization claims to be bipartisan, it’s clear that Michelle’s real goal is to urge more liberals to vote.

While she did not mention Trump by name, it’s clear that she was talking about him, as he has previously called mail-in voting a “scam.”

The president has also warned of a “rigged election” as demand for mail-in ballots surges amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Trump On Mail-In Voting

“We’re going to have to see what happens,” Trump said on Wednesday when asked about a possible transfer of power.

“You know that I’ve been complaining very strongly about the ballots, and the ballots are a disaster.”

He then appeared to suggest that if states got “rid of” the unsolicited mailing of ballots, there wouldn’t be any more concerns about fraud or peaceful transfers of power.

“You’ll have a very peaceful – there won’t be a transfer frankly,” Trump said. “There’ll be a continuation. The ballots are out of control, you know it, and you know, who knows it better than anybody else? The Democrats know it better than anybody else.”
