Michelle Obama used a cameo in an episode of the ABC series “black-ish” to promote her voter registration group – When We All Vote. The group has advocated for expanded mail-in voting, nationalized elections, and less restrictive voter ID laws.
Mrs. Obama, who played herself in Tuesday night’s episode titled “That’s What Friends Are For,” attended a When We All Vote fundraiser with “black-ish’s” main characters.
Her appearance on the ABC series had been advertised for some time.
“You do not want to miss this,” Obama said in a video alongside actress Tracee Ellis Ross promoting her appearance, along with a virtual watch party before the episode.

Michelle Obama on ‘black-ish’
It’s hard to imagine ABC allowing Melania Trump to appear on one of their sitcoms to promote a voter integrity organization. Yet, Michelle Obama promotes voter registration on “black-ish” and nobody bats an eye.
The former First Lady announced last spring that her celebrity voting rights group – When We All Vote – would embrace legislation to expand mail-in voting during the pandemic.
“There is nothing partisan about striving to live up to the promise of our country; making the democracy we all cherish more accessible; and protecting our neighbors, friends and loved ones as they participate in this cornerstone of American life,” Obama said in a statement at the time.
The group is often cited by the media as non-partisan which, of course, is false. It has several former Obama administration personalities working for them, along with help from far-left Hollywood actors.

When We All Vote published a letter demanding Americans pressure Congress into passing the For The People Act, legislation described by Hans von Spakovsky, an American attorney and a former member of the Federal Election Commission, as a federal takeover of elections.
“It would change election rules to make it easier to cheat and easier to manipulate election results,” von Spakovsky states.

In Politics Forever
Michelle Obama has warned the American people that she will use her voter registration group as a means to be involved in politics “forever.”
“One of the biggest ways I think I can help is to make sure that people understand the importance of voting and the power of voting in a democracy,” she said in an interview with Jenna Bush Hager. “That’s one way that we will be involved forever.”
Fox News personality Tucker Carlson believes Michelle Obama’s push for mail-in voting could “destroy” democracy itself.
“Former First Lady Michelle Obama is using [the pandemic] to promote the radical expansion of nationwide voting by mail,” Carlson said.
“Citizens could request ballots online, and print them at home. No serious person has ever suggested that before,” he claimed. “It would instantly destroy the public’s faith in election outcomes, and hence our democracy itself.”

Recent polls suggest Democrats would like to see the former First Lady run for President in 2024, something she has consistently denied having an interest in doing.
In an interview with Amtrak Magazine’s ‘The National’ she was asked: “If you thought the country needed you and you thought you could really help our nation, is there even a one percent chance you’d consider running?”
“Just between us, and the readers of this magazine — there’s zero chance,” Mrs. Obama replied.
