Mexico Worried ‘Migrant President’ Biden’s Border Policies Are Aiding Organized Crime

Officials in Mexico are concerned that President Biden's border policies are encouraging illegal immigration and leading to an explosion in gang activity.

Government officials in Mexico are reportedly concerned that President Biden’s border policies are encouraging illegal immigration and leading to an explosion in gang activity at the border.

Reuters, who had an opportunity to review internal assessments and speak with officials, reveals that Mexico is seeing an alarming rise in organized crime as a direct result of Biden’s policy changes.

“One Mexican official familiar with migration developments,” according to the report, “said organized crime began changing its modus operandi ‘from the day Biden took office’ and now exhibited ‘unprecedented’ levels of sophistication.”

With that, Reuters adds that “migrants are being told to bring along children to make it easier to apply for asylum.”

Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador is quoted as saying the migrants view Biden as a beacon of hope.

“They see him as the migrant president, and so many feel they’re going to reach the United States,” he said.

Biden’s Border Policies Are Creating A Humanitarian Crisis

DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas recently insisted there is no ongoing crisis at the border when reporters asked, but a behind-the-scenes email indicates he’s practically begging for help.

“Please consider joining the Volunteer Force to again provide needed humanitarian support along the Southwest Border and relief for our CBP colleagues,” Mayorkas wrote in an email to staff.

A humanitarian crisis is brewing, if not full-blown, and organized crime members are urging migrants to drag kids along with them to the border?

Where is the compassion we were promised, Mr. President?

Former Acting ICE Director Tom Homan has said the compassionate president voters were sold on is not materializing.

“Don’t tell me this is compassion” Homan said. “Putting your children in the hands of criminal cartels is inhumane, is dangerous, and it’s just bad.”

Former President Donald Trump criticized the Biden administration’s handling of the current border crisis saying, “our country is being destroyed.”

Now, even Mexico sees it.

Internal assessment in Mexican government “state that gangs are diversifying methods of smuggling and winning clients as they eye U.S. measures that will ‘incentivize migration,'” Reuters reports.

Criminals Are Using Social Media

As an interesting aside, the Reuters article notes that, according to one official, criminal gangs and cartels are using social media to update smugglers “on impending checkpoints, when freight trains they can jump on pass, where to stay and how to navigate immigration laws.”

That’s right – Big Tech giants like Facebook and Twitter are being used by organized crime in Mexico to infiltrate the United States.

The same tech companies that banned people concerned about election integrity and actually censored information during the 2020 presidential election that allowed Biden’s border policies to come to fruition.

The Mexican President called out social media companies for such censorship back in January. He was unhappy that Twitter had banned President Trump, the leader of the free world.

“I don’t like anybody being censored or taking away from the right to post a message on Twitter or Facebook. I don’t agree with that, I don’t accept that,” Lopez Obrador said during a press conference.

“A court of censorship like the Inquisition to manage public opinion: this is really serious,” he added.

Trump’s boisterous claims are policed, but organized drug cartels get free reign to share information on how to defy the laws of a sovereign nation.

Meanwhile, even Barack Obama in 2014 rejected the same border policies Biden is now adopting.

“Do not send your children to the borders,” Obama said at the time. “If they do make it, they’ll get sent back. More importantly, they may not make it.”

Now the President we were all told was the compassionate alternative to Trump is creating that very scenario.

“Migrants have become a commodity,” an official told Reuters. “But if a packet of drugs is lost in the sea, it’s gone. If migrants are lost, it’s human beings we’re talking about.”
