The parents of a seven-year-old girl said Melania Trump made “her Christmas dream come true” when the First Lady spent nearly 20 minutes helping her color a card at a Toys for Tots event.
“As a mother, I feel children are the most precious gift of all,” Trump said, kicking off the event. “They provide so much joy in life.”
Mrs. Trump joined the event with military children and their families at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, donating books for the event and taking time to join the kids as they put together cards and sorted toys.
The Toys for Tots charity “collects new, unwrapped toys and provides them to children in need” and “the toys are intended to provide hope for children and motivate them to do good in the world,” a statement from the Office of the First Lady reads.

Little Jackie Rodriguez meets First Lady Melania Trump
One little girl, Jackie Rodriguez, seemed at first a bit scared and confused as to what she was supposed to do. Melania sat down beside her and Jackie’s face immediately lit up with a smile.

Jackie’s parents spoke with the Daily Caller following the interaction and explained how the First Lady made their daughters’ day.
“She has been waiting for this day,” her mother said. “She has been talking non-stop about meeting Mrs. Trump. This is her Christmas dream come true.”
According to the Office of the First Lady, besides donating the books and spending treasured time with the little ones, Melania gave out “Be Best totes filled with a coloring book and White House candies to all the children that will be helping out at the drive.”
Can you imagine if Hillary had won? The little kids would be visiting Bill Clinton during this event and would probably have to donate their work to the Clinton Foundation.
Melania loves the children
In October of 2017, Melania Trump was given a humanitarian award for her work with women and children. She frequently visits sick children in hospitals to brighten their spirits.
The joy on little Jackie’s face is reminiscent of a White House Christmas decoration event in which one awestruck child said Melania looks “beautiful, like an angel!”
“She seriously looks like an angel”
I don’t recall MSM covering this, do you?

Meanwhile, when asked what she wants for Christmas this year, Jackie said she wanted nothing more than to go to the White House and visit Melania again.
