Megyn Kelly Reveals She And Donald Trump Have Patched Things Up – ‘Great To See Him’

Megyn Kelly revealed that she and Donald Trump held a private conversation recently and had patched up their one-time contentious relationship.

Former Fox and NBC News host Megyn Kelly revealed that she and Donald Trump held a private conversation recently in which they patched up their one-time contentious relationship.

Kelly, speaking on her Sirius XM show, described the former bad blood between the two as “nonsense” that has since been resolved.

She said they engaged in a one-on-one discussion over the weekend at an event held by Turning Point USA and praised Trump for being so considerate.

“His team was standing nearby, but he and I got a one-on-one together for the first time in years,” she told listeners. “And it was, frankly, great to see him.”

“You know, all that nonsense between us is under the bridge and he could not have been more magnanimous,” she added.

Kelly Gushes Over Trump

Kelly went on to describe Trump as a powerful presence, practically gushing over the former president.

“It was just, the thing about Trump is (he) commands the room. He walks in and–it’s not just because he’s the former president now, because I knew him before that,” she said.

“There’s just something about him. It’s like an aura that sort of takes over the room,” Kelly continued. “There’s only one person you can look at.”

Kelly went on to provide details of the conversation, and to predict that Trump would most likely skip the presidential debates being held by her former network.

“He could not have been nicer or more generous, and had some interesting thoughts about the debates, whether he’s going to attend,” she said. “I wouldn’t bet on it. I would not bet on him attending, at least, not that first Fox News debate.”

Bad Blood Between The Two

It’s no secret that Kelly and Trump have had some extremely bad feelings towards each other in the past.

Trump famously remarked that she had “blood coming out of her eyes, blood coming out of her wherever,” after she challenged him during a debate over remarks he had made about certain women.

Kelly claimed Trump had “threatened” her prior to the debate because she had interviewed a guest that he was not a particular fan of.

Kelly took the animosity up a notch when she insinuated that former First Lady Melania Trump had sold her body for exploitation through modeling, just like porn star Stormy Daniels.

“Now, I’m not comparing the two, posing nude is not the same as being a porn star – but come on. Right? Come on,” she said.

Kelly’s star rose as an anchor at Fox News only to find herself caught up in controversy with Trump. She eventually left all  that behind to be a top star at NBC. Her gig there was rather short-lived and expensive for the network, however, ending after she gave a bizarre defense of dressing up in blackface for Halloween.

These days, Kelly is focused on her successful SiriusXM show, where she can say whatever she pleases without having to cater to a major network like Fox or NBC.

It will certainly be interesting to see if Kelly’s friendship with Trump continues to blossom as his 2024 presidential run continues.
