About time Republican “leadership” in Congress give at least rudimentary support for the president. The senate republicans are only in power because they rode on Trump’s coat tails in the 2018 election.
On Tuesday, Sen. Mitch McConnell, Majority Leader, delivered a stinging rebuke of whiny Democrats trying to extend the Russian investigation by way of obstructing justice with Special Counsel Robert Mueller, who found no evidence that Trump’s 2016 campaign colluded with Russia.
McConnell declared; “The special counsel’s finding is clear. Case closed.”
The more the Democrats drag this out, the more they insult the voters and Trump will win by a landslide in 2020. The best protection for real Americans is to allow this to poison the one-time Democrat voters and help them realize what has happened to their representatives.

As some say, their hatred for President Trump and their sick lust for vengeance against us for electing him is far, far more important to these evil people than anything else. They probably know that regardless of whatever they do, Donald Trump will be re-elected in 2020. Even if they stop all this. So, therefore, they are just going to wallow in their hatred, and relish practicing their evil. Which shows what kind of vile people they are. Really, it is mind-boggling.
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell declared on Tuesday that the investigations of President Donald Trump and his 2016 campaign were “case closed” for him and blasted Democrats in Congress for what he sees as their “unhinged partisanship.”
“Two years of exhaustive investigation, and nothing to establish the fanciful conspiracy theory that Democratic politicians and TV talking heads had treated like a foregone conclusion,” McConnell said during a floor speech on Tuesday morning. “They told everyone there’d been a conspiracy between Russia and the Trump Campaign. Yet on this central question, the Special Counsel’s finding is clear: Case closed. Case closed.” [Associated Press]
McConnell is talking about Democrats who thrive on lies, trickery, deceit, fake news, racism and fear mongering to get their way. Nothing will change them – not even their own failed investigations. If the Germans of World War II had been Democrats, they would now be claiming Hitler won the war.
McConnell is right, but that won’t matter to the Democrats. They will drag this out trying to slander the President so people won’t vote for him. Their unsubstantiated claims against the President and Barr only shore up the position that they are nuts!
I would like to see ALL Republicans standing up against the Democrats and for their party and President Trump. A collective, unified front to stand against the Russian hoax and the continued coverup in the Congress and the media.
I see the Democrats standing together collectively, aggressively, and in force.
Where are the Republicans? Cowering behind their desks? Flailing about in separate directions with no purpose or goal other than to win reelection in their districts with spineless non-principled cowardice?
