If Maxine Waters can be elected and remain in office for nearly 40 years, I suppose that means any of us can.

Not only does she not even reside in the district she represents (which has seen virtually no improvements in its quality of life since Maxine was elected decades ago), she resides in her own ivory tower, a $4.3 million mansion in a different district.  How did she possibly afford that mansion on a public servant’s salary? Even asking such questions is racist, according to Maxine.

Not like she’s ever actually done anything in Congress, she’s become even less productive in the Trump era. In fact, over the past two years, “Impeach 45” appear to be two of the only words left in Maxine’s vocabulary. She’s been calling for Trump’s impeachment before Inauguration Day. But as it turns out, there’s no shortage of people that would like to impeach Maxine Waters too.

Following her comments encouraging the harassment of Trump supporters after Sarah Huckabee Sanders was denied service at a restaurant, a petition went up on the White House’s website demanding her expulsion from Congress. (RELATED: Maxine Waters Calls for Violence Against Trump Supporters). Anyone can create a White House petition, and if they cross the threshold of 100,000 signatures, the White House will issue a response commenting on the petition.

“It’s time for Maxine Waters to go” the petition begins. “Waters has crossed a dangerous line, calling for attacks and violence against all Trump officials.”

In conclusion, “Under the circumstances, censure is not enough for Maxine Waters. Waters should face expulsion for what she’s done.”

The petition now tops 100,000 and will result in a response from the White House.

While no policy changes have resulted from this petition system (created by the Obama Administration), it has led to some funny responses. For instance, a petition from 2013 asking Congress to build a Death Star well passed the threshold requiring Obama’s White House to respond. Among their reasons for rejecting the petition included the reasoning that “The Administration does not support blowing up planets,” and “Why would we spend countless taxpayer dollars on a Death Star with a fundamental flaw that can be exploited by a one-man starship?”

It’s not like Trump can remove Maxine from Congress, but given his prior mudslinging with “low IQ Maxine Waters,” I have my fingers crossed that we’ll see a hilarious response to the petition.
