Million man marches ain’t what they used to be.
This past weekend’s March for Our Lives (which was really a march for gun control, and against Republicans) was supposed to attract nearly a million people- but the truth won’t fit the liberal media’s narrative. “March for Our Lives Organizers Estimate 800,000 People Attended the D.C. Rally” read one headline, which would be massive, if true. Some liberals were happy to point out that an attendance of 800,000 is more than Trump’s inauguration attracted.

Around 200,000 people attended the March For Our Lives gun control event in Washington, D.C. Saturday afternoon, CBS News reported.
The number is well below the 500,000 number organizers of the event expected and 600,000 less than initially reported by many news outlets immediately following the celebrity-fueled march and rally. The march took place between noon and 3 p.m. on Pennsylvania Avenue between 3rd Street NW and 12th Street NW.
There were, however “Marches for Our Lives” in other cities across the country. It’s estimated that there were 800 other marches going on, while the main one took place in Washington, D.C. The attendance estimates reported are only of attendees in Washington, D.C., so it’s impossible to know the overall attendance unless there was an attempt at estimating attendance in every city there was a March.
What qualifies as one of the 800 other “marches” remains a mystery, too. The organizers publicized the fact that there was even a “March for Our Lives” in Antarctica, so clearly they’re stretching quite a bit. How much did that March add to the attendance figures? Two people?

Of course, the turnout truly is irrelevant. The great thing about Constitutional rights is that they can’t be voided by a parade of aggrieved teenagers seeking to take away our guns.

Hopefully, this march has caused leaders to review mental health policies and procedures plus consider an electronic entrance that has a metal detector and would require people to ring a bell and be buzzed in before entering a school. We don’t need more gun control laws on the books!! We just need to enforce the laws on the books that we already do have!! People always get their sorts in a bundle when horrific things happen. They immediately start jumping to conclusions and for quick knee jerk solutions. The AR-15 is not an assault rifle it is no more than a target practice semi-automatic or can be used as a varmint rifle for fox, squirrel, rabbits, gophers or coyotes. A very small caliber bullet not much bigger than a .22 cal. bullet. For these reasons many gun owners have one of them in their gun cabinet. It was not intended to be used as an assault rifle even though it has an appearance of one with the clip.It was not the rifle that did the shooting and killing of those innocent people it was the mentally ill individuals that had access to the AR-15 varmint rifle. All of the mass shootings of school children and other innocent people were targeted by mentally deranged individuals. Not that knowing that will ease the pain and sorrow for those who lost loved ones in those shootings but it should be known and understood how these shootings came about and by whom.The rifle only did what it was designed to do when the individual loading it and doing the pulling of the trigger. The rifle on it’s own would never kill anyone or anything without a trigger man involved. We shouldn’t be blaming or pointing our finger at the rifle we should be concentrating on the individuals that have been the trigger man in these mass shootings which were mentally ill individuals. Until people realize the real killer in these shootings and quit blaming the rifle instead of the trigger man the mentally ill these nightmares will continue ongoing. There was a criminal in Chicago that killed a police commander recently. Chicago has the strictest gun laws in the nation. The perp that killed the commander was out of prison before his sentence was served. For all their safety, let’s have metal detectors and strip searches, make their school days 11 hours long! Let’s watch the howling if that happened! We have to go through ID checks and a body scan if we get on a commercial flight, for “safety”, advised to arrive 2-3 hours before flight time.
Tennessee schools have had that rule for several years, ever since one of the earliest school shootings. So they can complain all they want, but it won’t do them any good. And, the safety of the other kids far outweighs the ‘privacy’ of the few. Even if they’re over 18, as long as they are a student, they have no privacy rights. We need to stop trying to enact ‘Gun-Ownership Control’ and start working on actual ‘Gun Control’. We will never able to look into a person’s mind to determine what the may or may not do with a fire arm. We need to control what arms are available to civilian individuals. Crediting the students with organizing this rally is great but they didn’t organize it. Scripted from the beginning lends credence to the possibility that the DEMOS may have a contingency plan for using these tragedies well in advance. Hopefully, this march has caused leaders to review mental health policies and procedures plus consider an electronic entrance that has a metal detector and would require people to ring a bell and be buzzed in before entering a school. The AR-15 is not an assault rifle it is no more than a target practice semi-automatic or can be used as a varmint rifle for fox, squirrel, rabbits, gophers or coyotes. It was not intended to be used as an assault rifle even though it has an appearance of one with the clip.It was not the rifle that did the shooting and killing of those innocent people it was the mentally ill individuals that had access to the AR-15 varmint rifle. All of the mass shootings of school children and other innocent people were targeted by mentally deranged individuals. Not that knowing that will ease the pain and sorrow for those who lost loved ones in those shootings but it should be known and understood how these shootings came about and by whom.The rifle only did what it was designed to do when the individual loading it and doing the pulling of the trigger. The rifle on it’s own would never kill anyone or anything without a trigger man involved. We shouldn’t be blaming or pointing our finger at the rifle we should be concentrating on the individuals that have been the trigger man in these mass shootings which were mentally ill individuals. Exactly WHAT is up with the fist salute?? Do these kids not KNOW where that salute came from? Or do they even care? Parents need to step up, & teach these kids REAL history instead of the junk they learn in public schools these days. And, the arm bands just make it even worse. Apparently, our schools don’t teach about the holocaust, & Hitler’s Brown Shirt youth. Scary, because if we don’t learn from history, then history WILL repeat itself. Only this next time around, it’ll be conservatives, & Christians that pay the ultimate price.

while i’m all for safety of anyone, these fool kids have no idea they are being used a a tool by the idiots that are trying to ruin the u.s., namely the demon-rats, and the rest of the crime syndicate, known as clintons, soros, obamas, and any other dildo that wants to send you all back to the dark ages, with witch hunts.
They just got “whacked” with their “demands” of safety, clear backpacks from now on, and they’re saying it’s an “invasion of privacy”. Be careful what you ask for, sometimes you’ll get it! Time to invest in the companies that make clear backpacks!
Tennessee schools have had that rule for several years, ever since one of the earliest school shootings. So they can complain all they want, but it won’t do them any good. And, the safety of the other kids far outweighs the ‘privacy’ of the few. Even if they’re over 18, as long as they are a student, they have no privacy rights. Unless they’d prefer strip searches, or having to pass through scanners before entering the school buildings. And, girls that need menstrual products, can keep them in their locker, or carry in a pants pocket. And, why all of a sudden the modesty? It’s not like the products are a big secret these days, when they’re advertised on t.v., in magazines, & even on some sign boards. These kids just got hit with a big dose of reality!
For all their safety, let’s have metal detectors and strip searches, make their school days 11 hours long! Let’s watch the howling if that happened! We have to go through ID checks and a body scan if we get on a commercial flight, for “safety”, advised to arrive 2-3 hours before flight time.
I didn’t pay attention to the DC “gathering”, I haven’t watched TV in 20+ years, but I hear the little Hogg kid was dropping the “F” bomb 2 times every sentence. Seeing that Pappy Hogg is an anti-Trump FBI bozo and Mommy Hogg is an anti-Trump employee of CNN, the dwindling Grandpa of “FAKE NEWS”. I did see that little Hogg was doing a Nazi drive, pushing for “arm bands”, all he needs is a brown shirt and jack boots, and maybe a little mustache.
Has anyone made an estimate of how many of these anti-gun, anti-Trump, anti-Constitution protesters were actually teenagers? I am guessing that the majority were the same old, every weekend protesters we see on TV each week.
After it came out that ex-Pres. Obama administration told the FBI to delete 500,000 criminals from their “do not sell a gun to” list … the failure of the local sheriff to monitor what was obviously a troubled kid with a gun … and the local security guy looking to retire who ignored the active shooting, the Parkland killings were going to happen. Government has to step up their efforts to keep guns out of criminals hands and they have to respond better to tips that someone is going to explode and he has a gun. That is the gun control we need.
Actually, the problem with Nick Cruz started because the Sheriff & the school board had an ‘arrangement’ for the Sheriff to no arrest their students, so the school didn’t lose federal funds. The boy should’ve been on every do not sell guns to list available, but in order to keep his arrangement with the school, the Sheriff let the boy walk at LEAST 39 times.
Who paid for this? Clearly these students can’t make this trip on their lunch money.

We need to stop trying to enact ‘Gun-Ownership Control’ and start working on actual ‘Gun Control’. We will never able to look into a person’s mind to determine what the may or may not do with a fire arm. We need to control what arms are available to civilian individuals. No civilian should be allowed to have a fire arm with a removable clip. These are only for offensive killing of other humans, not for defense or hunting.

The kids listen to the teachers as they were told so now we blame the kids for listening . That’s a good one !! I’ll hit 58 this year, got swatted a couple of times growing up, graduated in the top 10% of my class. outside of 2 speeding tickets in 40+ years of driving, I’ve been a “model citizen”. They never saw me in ’79 at 3AM driving 135MPH in a 45MPH zone, but I was 19 then.
That would have been a good opportunity to napalm the whole bunch. At least it would have been a start.
Comments like this is why the framers of the Constitution state in the 2nd Amendment that ‘a well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free State’, in other words an army to defend a State against the Federal government, not every individual, ‘the right to bear arms’. For a military officer would never suggest using a weapon of mass destruction against American citizens exercising their rights of free speech.

If they are really rights, then they cant be taken away. If we all have inalienable rights and they belong to each and everyone of us how can someone take them away?
If they decided to take away guns or any right for that matter, I can promise you this country would see violence it hasn’t seen since the last revolution! People will not sit idly by and watch there rights disintegrate. Liberals maybe but people who love this country wont!

If govt decides to confiscate in every city, they won’t come knocking on doors but by stealth, from helicopters, and dressed in swat ready for war; and they’ll come in the middle of the night, and silent as they can be. What we need in prepping for such a scenario, is to commence organizing community militias in every city, town, and neighborhood. It will be organized militias that will save this nation, not individuals with rifles who go duck hunting once a year.
Having said that, I don’t care if we were outnumbered; no one will conquer the American patriots that we are. If they bring the fight to us, it will show these commies and the world how very powerful Americans regard their Freedom. God bless America, land that I love. “Come and take them”.
