Conservative blogger Michelle Malkin took it up a notch when she was paired with Democratic strategist Julie Roginsky in an interview on gun control during the Fox News show Hannity.
Roginsky argued against concealed carry with a really odd argument.
“Here’s my question: Do you want me in that room? Because I have the same access to guns as you would and I have no idea how to shoot anybody. That’s the difficulty,” Roginsky said.
Malkin, of course, took the opportunity to respond emphatically.
“I’d want every grown woman in that room to also be trained and armed,” she said. “And I’m going to make sure my own daughter, who is now a teenager, understands that, of course, being armed in self-defense is the great equalizer whether you are talking about defending against a rapist or a jihadist.”
Honestly, I feel we should turn all of the liberal arguments against them. For example, men who are pro-life are typically told we have no right to an opinion because we can’t get pregnant. Let’s use that same line of argument against liberals – especially those who don’t have a gun and/or don’t know how to properly operate a gun. They now have no right to an opinion on this matter.
I’ve been seeing a pattern of cowardice with these liberals:
- Afraid of guns
- Afraid of defensive violence
- Afraid of free speech
- Afraid of unfairness
- Afraid of offending someone
- Afraid of wealth
- Afraid of achievers
- Afraid of destroying the earth (as if we could!)
- Afraid of dissenting opinions
- Afraid of free thought
- Afraid of hurting the enemy’s feelings
Feel free to add more! By the way, Hannity and Malkin are gun owners and concealed carriers.
Will liberals ever learn you can never defeat a conservative on the idea of protecting your family? That it’s our responsibility, not the government’s? What do you think about this tense exchange? Share your comments below.
