Black Lives Matter Activist Lisa Durden Was Suspended From Essex County College For Racist Rant

Lisa Durden, the Black Lives Matter supporter who recently appeared on Tucker Carlson’s show to discuss the virtues of an “exclusively black” Memorial Day celebration, has been suspended indefinitely from Essex County College.

During her interview with Carlson, she was asked why the group wasn’t arguing against singling out people based on race, rather than promoting the idea.

“Boo-hoo,” she said hysterically. “You white people are angry because you couldn’t use your ‘white privilege’ card to get invited to the Black Lives Matter all-black Memorial Day celebration.”

The entire exchange left Carlson saying to Durden, “You’re sick, and what you’re saying is disgusting.”

Actions and words have consequences however, and a college professor going off on racist rants on national television doesn’t reflect well on the university – so Durden has been suspended.

Via the Daily Caller:

A former professor at Essex County College was indefinitely suspended two days after her heated appearance on “Tucker Carlson Tonight.”

Lisa Durden was told that she had to cancel her classes and report to Essex County College’s human resources department two days after a June 6 appearance on the prime time Fox News show.

After the show, Durden received a letter from the vice president for academic affairs at Essex County College, informing her that she was suspended “until further notice.”

You’ll never guess what Durden compared her suspension to. That’s right, a “lynching.”

“They did this to humiliate me,” Durden said in an interview. “Essex County College publicly lynched me in front of my students.”

It is unbelievably insensitive to downplay actual racial violence in our nation’s history. Durden should be ashamed.

You can see the unhinged professor’s interview below …

“Is she too outspoken?” her lawyer asked, trying to find an explanation for her suspension.

It’s so much simpler than that. She was suspended because what she said, and what she believes, is overwhelmingly racist.
