In a year known mostly for mayhem, misfortune, and madness, America’s media quickly proved themselves fit for narrating this first draft of history. All too often, when the news got tough, the TV news got weird.
Embarrassingly weird.
While picking 10 of the most egregious examples was no easy task, we’ve whittled thousands of clips down to four minutes’ worth that we think represent 2016 in a (really disfigured) nutshell.

Our particular favorites include the media fawning all over a dictator in Fidel Castro, blaming ‘white people’ for ruining America, and of course the endless parade of media experts predicting Donald Trump would lose the election in an historic landslide.
Breathtaking, isn’t it?
The American media have helped to keep liberals in power, have helped to ruin true conservative politicians with attacks, have shaped public opinion, and have simply rewritten the past to make one of the worst presidential candidates (Hillary Clinton) in our nation’s history seem like an infallible queen.
This past year of course, has been no different.
