Left Has Panic Attack After Elon Musk Brands Terms ‘Cis’ And ‘Cisgender’ As Hate Speech

Twitter chief Elon Musk declared that the terms “cis” and “cisgender” are considered “slurs” on the social media platform, adding that “repeated, targeted harassment” would result in a temporary suspension.

This was enough to make liberals lose their minds.

Musk’s statement came in response to cultural commentator James Esses, who claimed to have been the target of vile messages after denouncing the terms.

“Yesterday, after posting a Tweet saying that I reject the word ‘cis’ and don’t wish to be called it, I receive a slew of messages from trans activists calling me ‘cissy’ and telling me that I am ‘cis’ ‘whether or not I like it,'” Esses wrote. “Just imagine if the roles were reversed.”

Musk chimed in saying that the terms would be considered slurs going forward.

Liberals Aren’t Pleased With Mush Calling ‘Cis’ And ‘Cisgender’ A Slur

As you might imagine, there was quite a bit of reaction to Elon Musk calling the terms “cis” and “cisgender” slurs. Some of it positive, some of it negative, and some referencing Musk’s claim to be a champion of free speech.

“Will watch for you to advocate for straight pride parades and white power rallies next,” one woman with pronouns in her bio wrote. “Your mom must be so proud of you for standing up for the privileged majority.”

Another account known as “Lakota Man” simply posted the terms over and over again. That commentator has nearly half a million followers. His suspension should be forthcoming.

“So Nazis and racism are permitted under free speech, but a scientific term is a slur?” another person seethed. “I have never seen someone tank their image so quickly and intentionally.”

Of course, actual pro-Nazi and pro-racist screeds are also slurs, it’s just that the left thinks everybody who doesn’t agree with them is a Nazi or a racist.

Harry Potter Author Joins the Conversation

Liberals really lost their minds when “Harry Potter” author J.K. Rowling opined on Musk referring to “cis” and “cisgender” as slurs.

“‘Cis’ is ideological language, signifying belief in the unfalsifiable concept of gender identity,” Rowling tweeted. “You have a perfect right to believe in unprovable essences that may or may not match the sexed body, but the rest of us have a right to disagree, and to refuse to adopt your jargon.”

Musk concurred.

“I wonder was there a tangible, specific moment in your life when you decided that patriarchy and misogyny were so dominantly pervasive that you had no choice but to anchor yourself to a binary perspective?” one user replied.

“The hypocrisy of an author who uses the words to tell stories that rejects a word used as an adjective for 30 plus years then wants her followers to do the same,” another claiming to be a doctor wrote. “Jk it isn’t jargon just look in the dictionary.”

We took their advice and looked it up in Merriam-Webster. The dictionary explained what the term “cisgender” means: “If your birth announcement still feels accurate to your gender, then you’re cis.”

In other words, reality. They just came up with a little fancy term that grants admission to the LGBT mafia club if you use it. Most normal people do not use such terms.

A Musk follower pointed out the origin of the term “cisgender” is from German sexologist Volkmar Sigusch, who coined the word in 1991 in a book about transgender people.

“The contemptible creep that manufactured the term ‘cis’ has serious problems,” Musk replied. “Ignore him.”

You know who’s really going to be surprised to learn she’s using a “slur” on Twitter? Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who uses the term when she gets into one of her mush-mouthed woke word salads.

Looking forward to her suspension!

The Associated Press last week issued a guide urging reporters to avoid the term “TERF” or “trans-exclusionary radical feminist.”

It seems common sense might be making a comeback.
