The former “Growing Pains” star Kirk Cameron, who has long been one of the only openly Christian conservative stars in Hollywood, is defying the left by revealing how the United States of America was actually shaped by Christian values.

Cameron Sounds Off
Cameron, 52, used a recent episode of his “American Campfire Revival” podcast to explain how exactly Christian values shaped America.
“You are part of a rich historical tradition where faith has played a significant role in shaping our nation,” he wrote alongside a clip from the show. “Many good Christian people, like yourself, have contributed to the foundations of this country through their values of compassion, justice, and community.”
“Preserving these principles and passing them down to future generations are a sacred duty, ensuring that our nation continues to be a beacon of Christian values, promoting love, kindness, and a sense of purpose for all Americans for generations and generations to come!” Cameron added.

Cameron Doubles Down
Cameron doubled down on this in the clip that he shared.
“Good Christian people formed themselves into a body of many members that had political influence to govern their nation,” Cameron said. “What they wanted was to separate secular government people from telling the family of faith what to do. That’s the opposite of what tyrants do. They want to control the church.”
“You see, they didn’t want to be disorderly,” he continued. “They wanted to have rules, but these rules would produce blessing and freedom, and they wanted to preserve and pass down to their children what they were sacrificing their lives to accomplish. And that was to bring glory to God and to advance their faith.”
“You see, faith is inextricably bound to the strategy that produces blessing because it’s part of the mandates of heaven,” Cameron concluded.
Movieguide reported that the official description of Cameron’s podcast states that it involves him “sparking a personal and national revival in the hearts of Americans. With a refreshing focus on Faith, History, Patriotism and the Bible, Kirk discusses everything from current cultural events, heroes of faith, and the Biblically-based, historically-proven strategy to bring life and liberty to individuals, families, and nations.”

Cameron’s Library Tour
Cameron has spent the past few months traveling to public libraries to read his faith-based children’s book “As You Grow” to children. While many libraries have gone woke by hosting drag queen story hours for kids, a lot of them have refused to host Cameron’s Christian events.
“This is proof that more than ever, we are getting destroyed in the battle for the hearts and minds of our children,” Cameron said earlier this year, according to Fox News. “Publicly funded libraries are green-lighting ‘gender marker and name change clinics’ while denying a story time that would involve the reading of a book that teaches biblical wisdom. How much more clear can it get? We have to start fighting back, or we will lose our kids and this country.”

Unlike most Hollywood stars, Cameron has been open and unapologetic about how much he loves this country. While appearing on “The Rubin Report” in 2021, Cameron was asked where he thinks America is headed in the next twenty years.
“That’s a terrifying question when I think about where we’re headed right now politically, economically, morally, spiritually,” Cameron confessed, adding that “the people who built” America, the Founding Fathers, declared “that faith and morality are absolutely essential for a free and just society.”
Despite this, Cameron still has hope when he looks at young Americans.
“I’m banking on the power of God working in their hearts and through their minds to make better decisions than we’ve made in this generation,” Cameron said. “That’s where my hope is.”
