Kathy Griffin Attacks Donald Trump For Punching Down

It’s been far too long, Kathy Griffin. Millions of fans have been clamoring for your return to the #Resistance.

Just kidding! Most people probably didn’t even realize the Y-List (as in “Y” would anyone watch this person?) celebrity had taken a moratorium from posting anti-Trump messages to social media.

We did, however.

Kathy Griffin is back, ladies and gentleman, ripping President Trump for his mean tweets to Mika Brzezinski and Joe Scarborough.

Griffin slammed Trump for ‘liking to punch down’ at people less powerful than himself.

Well, sure, it’s kind of hard not to be considered ‘punching down’ when dealing with someone of Griffin’s less-than-elite stature.

But really though, should someone who’s so vile as to hold up a bloody, severed head of the President, be criticizing anybody for lowering their standards?

Via the Daily Mail:

Kathy Griffin has hit out at Donald Trump after he viciously tore into the hosts of Morning Joe.

The comedian accused the president of ‘punching down’ after he attacked ‘low I.Q. Crazy Mika’ and ‘Psycho Joe’ in Thursday morning tweets for trash talking him on their show – prompting a huge backlash against Trump.

Griffin, who has kept a relatively low profile since she sparked outrage by posting a mock-up of Trump’s severed head earlier this month, criticized Trump’s tweets and accused him of bullying those less powerful than himself.

‘POTUS likes to punch down. Whether it’s anchors, US Attorneys, or standup comics. Meanwhile, millions are about to lose health insurance,’ Griffin said.

It was Griffin’s first major Trump post since she blamed the President for bullying her into the beheading photo.

Another Y-List celebrity with too much time on her hands, and fellow downward punch recipient, Rosie O’Donnell, responded to Griffin.

Charming duo, those two.

We’re glad to see the authorities gave Griffin her Twitter access back.

Now that her stand-up gigs and CNN hosting job with Anderson Cooper have been cut, she’ll have plenty of time to put her foot in her mouth on social media.

And that’ll probably be the funniest thing you’ll ever hear coming out of her mouth.
