Kate Middleton Will ‘Never Forgive’ Meghan Markle – ‘She’s Not Changing Her Mind,’ Insider Alleges

New reports are coming out alleging that Kate Middleton will “never forgive” her sister-in-law Meghan Markle for what she sees as her “ultimate betrayal.”

Kate Allegedly Won’t Forgive Meghan 

Meghan and her husband Prince Harry stepped down as senior royals at the start of 2020, and one year later, they infamously gave an explosive tell-all interview about the royal family to Oprah Winfrey. According to one insider, it’s this interview that Kate reportedly can never forgive Meghan for, as she feels it caused massive “damage” to the royal family.

“Kate has drawn a hard line in the sand — she’s not changing her mind about them,” the insider said, according to The New York Post. “They never apologized for their lies. But it’s harder for William because Harry is his brother. It’s a horrible situation all around.”

The source was referring to Prince William, Kate’s husband and the heir to the British throne. This insider went on to say that Kate sees Meghan’s interview with Oprah as being the “ultimate betrayal.” According to this source, William’s attempts of “extending an olive branch to Harry” left Kate “incensed,” and led to a “big fight” between the royal couple.

“But Kate feels that Harry and especially Meghan have done enough damage to the royal family, and will do even more damage if they’re let back in,” the insider claimed.

Kate’s Thoughts On Harry

While Kate allegedly has no intention of ever letting Meghan off the hook, another source claimed that she still has a soft spot for Harry.

“Kate has been in touch with Harry to tell him to keep his chin up and not worry too much about these temporary setbacks,” this source told Closer Weekly. “Harry’s relationship with Kate has remained intact and it means an awful lot to Harry that she continues to show support and especially during desperate times like this when the chips are down.”

“She feels very sorry for him right now,” this insider continued. “Seeing him go through all these setbacks is very difficult to witness and it tugs at her heartstrings — especially as his court trial is taking place so close to their home.”

Hopes For William And Harry To Make Peace

This source also said that Kate is hoping that William and Harry can make peace someday.

“Kate wants to keep those lines of communication open and pave the way for long-term peace with the whole family – William included – down the line,” the source claimed. “She doesn’t want to meddle with Harry’s life but she wants him to know that there are a lot of people, herself included, who care about him and are rooting for him to be happy.”

Kate is likely hoping that there is some credence to the divorce rumors that have been going around about Meghan and Harry as of late, according to The Cut. Though Meghan and Harry have denied that there is anything wrong, various tabloid reports about potential trouble in their marriage have been circulating.

Since stepping down as senior royals, Meghan and Harry have been bashing the royal family seemingly every chance they get. It’s easy to see why Kate has no interest in ever forgiving Meghan, so we certainly can’t blame her for that!
