Military Leader Just Destroyed Canada’s Castro Loving Leader With 9 Words!

Justin Trudeau

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, much like his counterpart, President Obama, raised some eyebrows when issuing a statement about the death of Fidel Castro – a statement which glossed over his history of tyranny, political oppression, and death squads.

Trudeau took things a step further however, actually heaping praise and gushing over the former dictator of Cuba.

He referred to Castro as a “remarkable” man who was “recognized (for) his tremendous dedication and love for the Cuban people who had a deep and lasting affection for ‘el Comandante’.”

The comments were so over-the-top ridiculous that it sparked parody eulogies with the trending hashtag #TrudeauEulogies on social media.

Perhaps the best response to Trudeau’s statement comes from retired Army Lieutenant Colonel and Fox News contributor Ralph Peters, who in a mere nine words obliterates the Canadian Prime Minister for being an idiot.

“Justin Trudeau,” he said, “has the intellectual heft of cotton candy.”

Ouch.

Take a listen …

Peters went on to blast Trudeau and Obama for falling “under the spell of generations of left-wing propaganda and softness towards this particular dictatorship.”

He said the left is trying to rewrite history by turning a brutal dictator into “Mother Teresa with a beard.”

In stark contrast to Obama and Trudeau trying to canonize Castro, President-elect Donald Trump refused to sugarcoat the history of the dictator’s legacy in Cuba.

“Fidel Castro’s legacy is one of firing squads, theft, unimaginable suffering, poverty and the denial of fundamental human rights,” he stated.

There’s the main difference between liberals and conservatives – Trump saw the death of Castro and the end of his legacy of tyranny as welcome news, while Obama and Trudeau were saddened by it.
