Judge Napolitano: New Susan Rice Email an “Obama Attempt to Rewrite History”

A newly-released email from Susan Rice on Inauguration Day outlines former President Barack Obama’s guidance at a high-level meeting about how law enforcement should investigate alleged Russian interference in the 2016 election.

In the email, Rice wrote “President Obama began the conversation by stressing his continued commitment to ensuring that every aspect of this issue is handled by the Intelligence and law enforcement communities ‘by the book.’ The president stressed that he is not asking about, initiating or instructing anything from a law enforcement perspective. He reiterated that our law enforcement team needs to proceed as it normally would by the book.”

The email first surfaced yesterday when Sens. Chuck Grassley and Lindsey Graham sent her a letter questioning it.

“She’s sending herself an email talking about a conversation on Jan. 5 with the president, reassuring herself, and I guess the president, that this would be done by the book.” Graham said on Fox News’ Martha MacCallum’s show last night. “I think that’s odd and disturbing because we know the investigation regarding the Trump campaign was anything but by the book.”

Judge Andrew Napolitano also appeared on the show, and had a theory that it was Obama himself behind the email, in what appears to be “an effort by Susan Rice to reconstruct history.” According to the Gateway Pundit,

Napolitano says the email was an effort to cover-up her former boss’s role in the plot to sabotage President Trump.

On Tuesday morning Judge Napolitano expanded on his comments.

Judge Napolitano told FOX and Friends only one person could have told her to write the memo and that is Barack Obama.

Judge Napolitano: Only one person could have told her to write the email and she keeps falling on her sword for him. Remember when she went all over the networks with the crazy narrative on Benghazi was caused by a video? We know that’s not true.

This brings another story to mind, one that the New York Times published on January 12th, 2017. The headline was “N.S.A. Gets More Latitude to Share Intercepted Communications,” and the article explained how Obama just authorized the NSA to share their treasure trove of raw data from intercepted conversations with the FBI, the DEA, and the Department of Homeland Security.

Why the heck would he do that with only days left in his presidency, if not to “legalize” what his administration had already been doing the entire time?
