LGBTQ group PFLAG has rescinded an award honoring MSNBC host Joy Reid amid a growing backlash to anti-gay blog posts that appeared on Reid’s old blog.
PFLAG was poised to honor Reid with the group’s annual “Straight for Equality in Media” award in May but reversed that decision on Tuesday after Reid’s explanation for the posts appeared to fall apart.
The anti-gay posts, which internet sleuths found on the Internet Archive April 18, had been fabricated by unknown hackers, Reid claimed. The archive issued a statement on Tuesday disputing Reid’s claim, declaring they had found no evidence of manipulation.
Reid previously apologized in December 2017 for old blog posts speculating on the sexual orientation of former Florida Gov. Charlie Crist.
“When we extended our invitation to Ms. Reid to honor her at our 45th anniversary celebration, we did so knowing about the blog posts from the late 2000s regarding Charlie Crist,” PFLAG president Jean Hodges said in a statement Tuesday.
“We appreciated how she stepped up, took ownership, apologized for them, and did better — this is the behavior and approach we ask of any ally. However, in light of new information, and the ongoing investigation of that information, we must at this time rescind our award to Ms. Reid.”
Who cares?
The LGBT activists are too often a bunch of violent thugs who blame the vast majority of society for the fact they can’t cope with who they are, then attempt to hide behind confabulations about reality wile as Harold points out get in peoples faces.
No one wants to see gay’s abused or mistreated at least no one I know and they do a better job of that themselves.
But the whole gay marriage campaign was nonsense based on false positives rationaliztions that gays could not do worse than divorcees basing their claims on failure, and then denigrate procreation as if that has and had nothing to do with the institution of marriage. They still do not grasp how subverting the courts has hurt their cause and America. They are merely coming across ike nut cases.
These people portray themselves as some sort of synthetic superior race to overcome the fact they are unable to conform with reality.
The gay community until more recently and not in all quarters was also soft on pedohiles. When the UN was prepared to do more to criminalize pedophiiles, gay rights activists balked.
For all things sexually achieved by the revolution, everything from physical health, to political leadership, to the quality of life our children may expect they are poorer for the amount of fiction that has been manufactured instead of substantive real life.
HIV/AIDs is one the major self inflicted diseases that have destroyed our healthcare system by absorbing so much funding and still no cure. Its true 3 times more heterosexuals have it but but the fact it is not even attributed as the major contributing factor privacy acting as censorship on a nationally funded program is bad. And even though 3 times as many heteros with it facing a horrible death, 1 in 10 gay males will die as a direct result of contracting HIV/AIDs. I am not going to tell my son being gay doesn’t have a down side. There is nothing romantic about AIDS.
So having an anti deviate behavior view makes you unsuitable for public consumption. If gays have the right to get in your face then you should have the right to express your anti gay views. No wonder they’re trying to remove the bible from public sales.

She should be given the Congressional Medal of Honor as always was; is now and will forever be that homosexuals are the antithesis of what is normal, natural and healthy!!!
