Well, at least Joy Behar is honest about being deceptive. Bill Maher did the same by openly stating that Democrats are hoping for a recession. This is how they think.
Behar is okay with her party lying to its constituents and then forcibly taking away their constitutional rights. That, my friends, is the modern Democrat party for you. They should be voted out of power everywhere and immediately.
Politicians seeking to confiscate guns from Americans shouldn’t share their plans with the public beforehand and should seek to maintain an element of surprise, Joy Behar said on “The View” Monday.
Behar was discussing former 2020 presidential hopeful Beto O’Rourke, a Democrat from Texas, and said it was foolish of him to announce his plans for gun confiscation before he was elected. She advised all politicians to go after the country’s guns after they’ve assumed office.

“They should not tell everything they’re going to do. If you’re going to take people’s guns away, wait until you get elected — then take the guns away,” she said. “Don’t tell them ahead of time.” [Fox News]
You would think that Joy, living in New York City, would know better than to say that. People who are anti-gun advocates are the first to support those who use a gun to protect themselves and their family from bodily harm by someone who would break into their house at night, thinking they might be next to. Why do Democrats always make statements that strengthen Trump’s political base?
Whatever one’s position on the issue, we should all be horrified at the totalitarian mindset that Democrats continue to express more and more. People no longer care about the means, and of course the means is what makes representative democracy what it is. We accept election results whether we like them or not. We assume innocence until guilt is proved.
Call it what you will, Marxism or Fascism, it is all the same when it comes to this. It is totalitarian. Yes, MEANS count. The Founders warned that we might succumb to this due to lack of virtue.

The funny thing is I will never vote for a Democrat again. The action from the Democrats have shown their path going forward. Our country can’t live like that.

For decades, the Democrats have claimed no one wants to take guns away from their owners. Every gun owner knew they were lying. Now the Democrats are emboldened enough to admit they want to take away people’s constitutional rights. It is not about guns or the Green New Deal or climate change; it is all about a power structure and control.
Sure, don’t tell Americans you plan to infringe on their constitutionally protected rights, that’s following the playbook leading to Communism. That’s the plan the Dems want to follow? Seriously?
It’s opinions like Joy’s that are making this Independent more than happy to pull that lever and vote red straight down the line. I will never give up my constitutionally protected rights. NEVER.
