White House Chief of Staff John Kelly is expected to resign soon after it’s been reported that he and President Donald Trump are no longer on speaking terms.
The President and Kelly have long had a strained relationship. But it appears the time for separation is close at hand.
CNN broke the scoop:
John Kelly is expected to resign as White House chief of staff in the coming days, two sources familiar with the situation unfolding in the West Wing tell CNN.
Trump is actively discussing a replacement plan, though a person involved in the process said nothing is final right now and ultimately nothing is final until Trump announces it.

Tumult with Kelly and allies in the White House
Yesterday we noted that President Trump is considering a big Cabinet shakeup, including firing John Kelly, to start the year fresh with new members on his team. (RELATED: Trump Still Mulling Firing John Kelly Despite Staff Shortage.)
John Kelly’s departure may be the first firing to start this process, should it happen today or even over the weekend.
Should it come, it will be the culmination of a less-than-amicable relationship between Trump and the man he appointed to essentially run the White House. Last summer, just as Kelly resignation rumors were reaching a fever pitch, Trump put them to bed, declaring that Kelly would stay. (RELATED: John Kelly to Remain in White House.)

If Trump and Kelly truly aren’t on speaking terms, then the working relationship is probably irreparable at this point. Look for Kelly to get his walking papers soon.
Trump may find himself running the WH by himself if he doesn’t change his dictatorial manner of managing. I love what he is trying to accomplish….but he is shooting himself in the foot at every turn. No one with any bonafides wants to work for him, and he is the reason with his irrational fits, and narcissism. The best thing that cold happen to the Republican party is for Trump to resign before Mueller actually gets something on him and let Pence take over….it is the only chance we have to keep the W H. and the Senate.

President Trump mentioned that we should wait for his announcement about a change at the Pentagon tomorrow. It could have something to do with Kelly; maybe he will be getting the Chief of Staff position there. This will allow the president to reward him for coming in and organizing the White House Staff. As for the announcement by CNN that Kelly will soon be fired, maybe it was Kelly who told someone on the CNN staff. Remember Kelly worked for Obama when he was president. I am for getting rid of all Obama holdovers and since the DemoRats are now in charge of the House, now is the time for fire Rosenstein. Of course, if Barr is confirmed as the new Attorney General, he will take care of this problem. I keep hearing that Mueller is a Republican. My answer to this is, perhaps at one time it was convenient for him to register as a Republican, but after Obama became president, Mueller has been an obedient Democrat. He just never got around to changing his Party affiliation.
Too bad you get all your news from CNN which is always distorted. And your subscribers are mainly Democrats.
