Joe Biden Addresses the “Nation of Africa”

Vice-President Joe Biden spoke at the U.S.-Africa Summit recently in Washington, D.C., in which he gave the continent a brand new geographic designation of the “nation of Africa.”

Watch our nation’s deepest thinker in action, and while you do, please remember the phrase “a heartbeat away.”

Here is the transcript:

Biden:  But if Africa’s governments and institutions can put its people in a position commensurate with their possibilities, the sky is the limit.  I mean, it is limitless. There’s no reason the nation of Africa can not and should not join the ranks of the world’s most prosperous nations in the near-term, in the decades ahead.  There’s simply no reason.

Remember when the mainstream media, including Fox News, was ripping Sarah Palin for allegedly thinking Africa was a country? A rumor ultimately proven to be a hoax?

This is the same exact gaffe captured on video, for the entire “Nation of Africa” to see.  Will the media mock Biden in quite the same manner?

For now, one individual has stepped up to the plate.

Biden’s comments naturally prompted YouTuber Doug Hochberg to create a video in which Biden interjects himself into the Toto video for Africa.

It’s gonna take a lot to drag me away from you
There’s nothing that a hundred men or more could ever do
I bless the rains down in the Nation of Africa

Watch …

Now try your best not to sing Toto for the rest of the day.
