Jimmy Kimmel blasted President Donald Trump as a “snowflake” on his Wednesday night snow.
Kimmel was responding to a Wednesday morning tweet in which Trump called modern late-night shows “one-sided” and “unwatchable.”
Trump’s tweet was itself in response to a “Today” show interview in which former “Tonight Show” host Jay Leno also criticized modern late-night shows for being too political.
“Jay Leno points out that comedy (on the very boring late night shows) is totally one-sided. It’s tough when there’s only one topic.” @foxandfriends Actually, the one-sided hatred on these shows is incredible and for me, unwatchable. But remember, WE are number one — president!” tweeted Trump.

Kimmel did not take the criticisms very well.
“What a snowflake,” Kimmel joked about the president.
Kimmel also played a clip from Leno’s interview, in which the former late-night host talked about things being a “little easier” when he was hosting “The Tonight Show.”
Leno said it was hard to be one-sided because “[Bill] Clinton was horny” and “[George W.] Bush was dumb.”
Kimmel responded by saying, “It’s harder now because Trump is dumb and horny at the same time.”

Kimmel, one of the most politically charged late-night hosts around, then claimed he didn’t actually want to talk about the president at all.
“None of us who hosts these shows do, but he gives us no choice. If he sat in the White House all day quietly working on things, I would almost never mention him because he’s not interesting. But not even today — before 10 a.m. today, before 10 o’clock this morning, his former campaign chairman was sentenced to prison for the second time in a week, he called himself the ‘most successful president in history,’ and he tweeted to let people know his wife hasn’t been replaced with a body double. I’m not supposed to mention that?” said Kimmel.
The comedian continued by addressing Trump, “How about this? You stop being terrible, we’ll stop pointing it out, OK?”
The president renewed his criticisms of late-night shows on Thursday by tweeting a quote comedian and television producer Michael Loftus gave to “Fox & Friends” in a recent interview.
“The three very weak and untalented late night ‘hosts’ are ‘fighting over table scraps. Carson did a great job, it wasn’t political. I don’t know what they’re going to do in 2024 when he’s no longer president? Will be wacky in the unemployment line.’ Michael Loftus,” tweeted Trump.

Loftus has written and produced for shows like “Anger Management” and “Kevin Can Wait.”
