Jim Acosta Gets Reprimanded by Trump, Immediately Shuts Down

President Trump gave CNN’s Jim Acosta a proverbial shushing during an Oval Office press conference, and the far-left reporter quickly obliged.

The President was speaking with journalists about supposed bombshell allegations made by Lev Parnas, an associate to Trump’s personal attorney Rudy Giuliani.

Parnas had to find an audience for his imaginative stories with Rachel Maddow of MSNBC because few will give him credibility. Parnas is under a federal indictment for making false statements and falsifying records.

Still, a media desperately seeking their smoking gun to oust the President from office is pursuing his statements as if they might lead to something. And Acosta wanted a piece of the action.

QUIET!

President Trump was fielding questions when Acosta, as he is known to do, tried desperately to get attention and make the action in the room all about him.

“I don’t know him. I have never had a conversation that I remember with him,” Trump said remarking about his relationship with Parnas.

He continued with his response, but then …

Fox News reports:

It was then that Acosta tried to squeeze in his own questions, asking about Parnas’ claims that former National Security Adviser John Bolton and acting White House Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney “knew” about efforts to withhold aid from Ukraine in exchange for announced investigations into the Bidens’ dealings there.

It was clear that the President didn’t appreciate Acosta interjecting and said, “Quiet.”

Having no other choice, Acosta sheepishly complied.

Trump Speaks For Many

How do you watch that clip and not think, ‘Why is he talking over the President as he’s answering a question?’

Acosta took to Twitter to post his latest ‘Dear Diary’ entry about the incident.

“Just asked Trump about Parnas claim that admin efforts in Ukraine were ‘all about 2020.’ Trump insisted he’s only posed for photos with Parnas. Kept repeating that defense. Eventually told me to be ‘quiet,'” he wrote.

President Trump has a longstanding feud with Acosta who peddles quite frequently in ‘fake news.’

This past summer, the President mocked Acosta at the G20 summit in Osaka, Japan, and had the whole room laughing along.

Acosta’s antics have frequently left even employees or former employees of CNN disgusted.

“If we don’t have to talk about Jim Acosta, we don’t talk about Jim Acosta,” an employee of the network reportedly said when asked about the reporter’s anti-Trump book.

Steve Krakauer, a former senior digital producer for CNN, blasted him as “truly an embarrassment, on multiple levels,” complaining that Acosta “give(s) all good journalists a bad name.”

Thus, it’s better that he just keep quiet.
