50 Killed in Gaza Claches – Mostly Hamas Terrorists

GAZA CITY, GAZA - MAY 14: A wounded Palestinian man is rushed to an ambulance at the border fence with Israel as mass demonstrations continue on May 14, 2018 in Gaza City, Gaza. Israeli soldiers killed at least 41 Palestinians and wounded over a thousand as the demonstrations coincided with the controversial opening of the U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem. This marks the deadliest day of violence in Gaza since 2014. Gaza's Hamas rulers have vowed that the marches will continue until the decade-old Israeli blockade of the territory is lifted. President Donald Trump declared Monday a “great day” for Israel, and his top aides celebrated the opening of the new U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem, making good on his campaign promise (that many Presidents before had made, and didn’t make good on).

A number of Palestinian protesters have been killed in clashes, which the media is already portraying as the Israeli Defense Forces killing “peaceful protesters.” One headline over at the New York Times read “Israelis kill dozens of Palestinians in Gaza protesting U.S. Embassy move to Jerusalem.” Only buried deep within the story did they report the following bit…

According to the Daily Mail: “35,000 protesters rallied against the US Embassy opening in Jerusalem overseen by Donald Trump’s Middle East envoy Jared Kushner and daughter Ivanka.” That’s 35,000 protesters with murderous intentions in mind.

The Times of Israel reported that:

Gaza’s Hamas-run health ministry said 52 Palestinians were killed and more than 1,2000 were wounded in the violence, amid the biggest riots and rallies in a weeks-long campaign of protests against Israel. It was the deadliest day in Gaza since the devastating cross-border war between the territory’s Hamas rulers and Israel in 2014.
The Israeli army said around 50,000 Gazans were demonstrating in 12 locations along the border. It said thousands more were gathered at points several hundred meters from the fence.

And the details of why those “protesters” were killed shines some much-needed light on the situation that’s unfolding:

The army said three of those killed were trying to plant explosives at the border fence. In two separate incidents, IDF troops opened fire on gunmen who were trying to shoot them, Hadashot TV said.

The army also said aircraft struck a Hamas post after gunmen there opened fire on troops. There were no injuries among the soldiers. Reports said the IAF also struck five targets in the Jabaliya area.

The IDF confirmed it carried out a series of airstrikes in Gaza “in response to the violent acts of the last few hours being carried out by Hamas along the security fence.”

Hamas, the terrorist organization that governs the Gaza strip, made it clear that they wanted blood. In a video they broadcast through their television networks, Hamas encouraged their citizens to “return to the homeland” and promised paradise for those that were martyred in the process.
