The white knight is no more – or, at least, he’s stained with black.
James Comey, the former FBI Director and once-scrupulous defender of democracy, has had his reputation all but destroyed thanks to the release of a special report by the Inspector General alleging that he violated numerous agency guidelines during the investigation into Hillary’s illegal email server use. With his credibility in question, it looks like Comey just got even worse news. The same Inspector General, Michael Horowitz, just confirmed to Congress that Comey is under investigation for his handling of classified information, including memos detailing his interactions with President Trump.
Grassley: “Is the IG investigating Comey’s handling of his memos about Trump?”

It’s about time we got this confirmation!
Last April, we reported that the Department of Justice had confirmed that Comey indeed leaked classified information in the form of these memos. And while Comey claimed the information wasn’t classified at the time of disclosure, we knew that was a lie. (RELATED: Justice Department Investigating Comey’s Leak of Classified Information).
Comey was actually caught lying about his knowledge of the information he passed along during a Fox News interview with Bret Baier. (RELATED: James Comey Lies on TV About Leaking Classified Information).
President Trump also accused Comey of leaking classified information:

It looks like Comey’s humble roadshow is about to come to an end. The IG report documenting his rule-breaking was bad enough. But being under investigation for his handling of classified information, along with the fact that we know he leaked it to the press? That makes Comey no better than a common criminal.
Perhaps President Trump will finally get his chance to put Comey behind bars.
