James Clapper, former Director of National Intelligence, is warning Americans that we are being distracted from the reason of the original Russia probe, which was to investigate Moscow’s interference in the U.S. political system.
Clapper appeared on his friendly CNN network to speak on the hiring of U.S. Attorney John Durham by Attorney General William Barr, with the strict orders to investigate and examine the Russia investigation origins and decide if the collection of intelligence information targeting then-candidate Trump’s campaign were lawful and appropriate.
“You’re gonna have to stand in line and take a number to do an investigation of the investigators. There’s already one substantial investigation, which, as I understand, is nearing completion, being conducted by the Department of Justice Inspector General.
I’d wait for the outcome of that to determine if there need to be more investigations,” Clapper responded when asked if such a investigation is warranted.
Sounds like someone trying to direct attention. Right now we need to dive into the origins of the Russian Collusion hoax and who and how they pulled this off, once we have few people in orange jumpsuits we can go work on making sure the Russians stay out of our election.
You notice he sidesteps a lot of it with “get in line” and “we are losing sight.” You know Russians (and others) have been trying to interfere in our elections for decades. No one cared until Trump came along. Obama didn’t even care. His significant effort was “knock it off” because he thought it didn’t matter, Hillary Clinton would win anyway. Also, Barack Obama was quite content to interfere in UK’s Brexit vote by going over there and telling voters that the UK would move to the back of the line on trade if they voted for Brexit. He also gave money to Netanyahu’s opponent in the last election. Don’t we care that we interfere in elections too?
The Obama administration received multiple warnings from national security officials between 2014 and 2016 that the Kremlin was ramping up its intelligence operations and building disinformation networks it could use to disrupt the U.S. political system, according to more than half a dozen current and former officials.
When we can no longer trust the people who work for our law enforcement agencies like James Clapper or John Brennan, that is a severe problem. We need to see accountability and arrests. Hopefully, Attorney General William Barr will help bring back some trust and integrity to our system.
Clapper lost sight a long time ago as he did nothing when Obama was leveraging on Russians to destroy Trump. He has been part of the hack to overthrow Trump, and there is no way he can come out clean in the DEMS collusion with Russia to stop Trump. No President ever had to endure the intended coup that DEMS and some GOPs (like McCain, Ryan) tried against Trump, and after all, this comes out into the public Trump will be elevated to one of the most successful Presidents we ever had.
America has a leader that will never allow for these communist DEMS to destroy it.
