Illegals Climb Over Old Fence During MSNBC Report on Trump’s Wall

It looks like MSNBC did a little accidental reporting on why the border wall is such a necessity for our nation’s security.

The network ran a report on prototypes for President Trump’s wall being built along the U.S.-Mexico border, interviewing border agent Roy Villareal for the segment.

During the interview, with the camera pointed at the prototypes in the background, viewers can see a group of border agents rush to a certain location along the existing fence.

“What happened?” MSNBC reporter Jacob Soboroff shouted, adding as if to convey shock, “The people are crossing!”

Indeed, during the report on Trump’s border wall, several illegal immigrants jumped the existing, inadequate fence.

“A small group of three people just jumped over in the middle of the day,” Soboroff reported. “So can you explain to me what’s going on?”

“This is the reality of every day border enforcement,” Villareal explained. “The United States is still the draw, the ultimate draw, for people that have dire situations where they’re at.”

He added, “We’re going to continue to witness this. It plays out on a regular basis for us.”

The incident was reminiscent of a visit to the border by Senator John McCain in 2013, in which he and fellow senators including Chuck Schumer (D-NY), Jeff Flake (R- AZ) and Michael Bennet (D-CO), watched “a woman successfully climb an 18-foot bollard fence a few yards” from their location.

That was in 2013! Here we are four years later and our border is still equally as insecure as it was then.

As MSNBC’s report indicates … sometimes life imitates art.

The prototypes being built stand over 30 feet tall and will be tested by a private company in November.
