House GOP Mocks Kaepernick in Celebrating Women’s World Cup Finals Appearance

The National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) took a not-so-subtle jab at race-baiting activist Colin Kaepernick in a post celebrating the appearance of the U.S. Women’s soccer team in the World Cup final.

The group, which serves as the campaign arm for House Republicans, cheered on the women’s team after their victory over England on Tuesday.

They took to social media with a post featuring all of the usual 4th of July patriotism by celebrating independence, and they honored the women’s game by referencing one particularly strong and independent woman specifically – Betsy Ross.

Betsy Ross was an American upholsterer who has been credited with making the first American flag, a flag which recently became newsworthy because the sneaker manufacturer Nike wanted to distribute a special holiday version of their kicks featuring it on the heel.

That is until Kaepernick cried ‘racism,’ the company pulled the sneaker, subsequently lost major financial incentives and p***ed off a whole bunch of customers.

Mockery

The entire overly dramatic PC move made Kaepernick ripe for mockery, and the NRCC did not disappoint …

Sick burn.

And also a decent reminder that Kaepernick did not lose his job in the NFL because team owners are racist as the media and Nike, quite frankly, would have you believe.

“Believe in something. Even if it means sacrificing everything,” Kaepernick says in their ads.

A complete work of fiction. What exactly has he sacrificed? He voluntarily became a free agent and has since turned down offers so he can continue being a martyr for the cause.

He lost his job because he wasn’t all that talented.

Self-Own?

Was the joke worth it? In ripping Kaepernick’s garbage quarterbacking skills, the NRCC promoted a team that has been less than classy ambassadors for our nation.

U.S. women’s soccer star, captain Megan Rapinoe, has repeatedly protested the national anthem, labeling it “a little nod” to Kaepernick, and recently launched a profanity-laced tirade saying she would refuse a visit to the White House.

Rapinoe has said she’ll “probably never put my hand over my heart … I’ll probably never sing the national anthem again.”

She and Kaepernick are quite the duo, a pair of America-hating drama queens.
