Hillary Clinton’s Pastor Compares Her Presidential Loss to Jesus

As we reported last week, Hillary Clinton has some holy ambitions and is reportedly considering becoming a preacher.

One Twitter user who that Hillary was already running the Church of Satan. She actually received a response from the Church… who wanted nothing to do with Hillary.

Only God knows who would want to hear a sermon coming from Hillary Clinton – a woman millions probably believe was prevented from becoming president thanks to divine intervention. Though among those disagreeing with the “divine intervention” hypothesis is none other than Hillary’s pastor herself.

In fact, he actually compared Hillary’s loss to the death of Jesus Christ!

The pastor for Hillary Clinton compared her loss in the 2016 election to the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ in an email sent to the Democratic leader.

The email, obtained by CNN, was sent to Clinton on the morning of November 9, 2016, the day after her loss to Donald Trump, by United Methodist City Society Executive Director the Rev. Bill Shillady.

“It is Friday, but Sunday is coming. This is not the devotional I had hoped to write. This is not the devotional you wish to receive this day. While Good Friday may be the starkest representation of a Friday that we have, life is filled with a lot of Fridays,” Shillady wrote.

“Even though Jesus told his followers three days later the temple would be restored, they had no idea of what that Sunday would be,” Shillady continued. “They betrayed, denied, mourned, fled and hid. They did just about everything BUT feel good about Friday and their circumstances.”

“For us, Friday is the phone call from the doctor that the cancer is back,” Shillady continued. “It’s the news that you have lost your job. It’s the betrayal of a friend, the loss of someone dear. Friday is the day that it all falls apart and all hope is lost. We all have Fridays. But, as the saying goes, ‘Sunday’s coming!’”

H/T The Daily Caller

For a pastor, he doesn’t appear to know much about his own faith. After all, they call Good Friday “good” because despite the tragedy of Jesus’s death, it was necessary to forgive our sins.

It has nothing to do with electoral politics. Comparing Hillary’s loss to Jesus’s death isn’t just inaccurate, it’s offensive.

Share this story if you think that Hillary Clinton should never be compared to Jesus Christ!

  1. This is blasphemy of the worst sort! That so-called preacher should resign, hide his head in shame and go away for 20 years with a Bible and learn some truth!!
