Former First Lady and two-time presidential loser Hillary Clinton openly embraced a woman calling for the impeachment of President Trump, praised ‘black women’ for resisting him, and labeled the White House a bastion of racism and white supremacy.
And it took her all of two sentences to do so.
Clinton made her remarks at a fundraiser in Chicago on Thursday, declaring a newfound friendship with Maxine Waters who has spent this entire past year screeching “Impeach 45!” every moment she gets.
Perhaps Hillary thinks that if Trump is impeached, she’d somehow get put in the White House. Or maybe she’s just a bitter woman who wants to tear down the man who defeated her soundly in the 2016 election.
Don’t think she’s bitter? Take a listen to this …
“You know, maybe I don’t need to say this because it’s pretty obvious,” Clinton said.
“We are living in challenging times,” she continued. “We’re living through a war on truth, facts and reason, watching as racist and white supremacist views are lifted up in the media and in the White House.”
No, Mrs. Bill Clinton, we already fought the war on truth, the war on the Obama/Clinton era on loose facts, and won.
Still, Clinton went on to praise one key Democrat in the resistance movement against Trump.
“Despite it all, there are signs of hope and resilience,” she said. “And much of that is being led and shaped by black women like my dear friend Maxine Waters.”

Yep good folks, Maxine Walters. https://t.co/k6stwsdcUQ

“Black women are not only the base of the Democratic party,” Clinton said of a group of people she once referred to as ‘superpredators.’ “You are essential to democracy.”
Clinton warming up to Waters might be a relatively new thing, but their willingness to join together in common cause on impeachment is not without precedence.
Rep. Waters took to the House floor in 1998 to defend none other than one William Jefferson Clinton against charges of impeachment, despite his clearly defined guilt on the articles brought forth.
Flashback 1998 Maxine Waters called impeachment of Bill Clinton a “coup d’etat” led by Christian extremists” as part of a conspiracy to direct & control our culture

Waters denounced the “partisan impeachment,” labeling it a “Republican coup d’etat” and downplaying the crimes of perjury and obstruction of justice that led to Clinton’s downfall.
This is the woman Clinton now champions as a leader in the war on truth.
