Glorida Allred Admits She Doesn’t Know if Roy Moore Signed Accuser’s Yearbook

Oh, Gloria Allred, never change.

The famed attorney has jumped into the fray, involving herself in the ongoing scandal surrounding Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore.

Moore is accused of harassing teenage girls decades ago when he was in his 30s. After the initial allegations were revealed by the media, Allred must have saw an opportunity to get herself in the spotlight.

She found a woman in Alabama who is accusing Moore of harassment in her teens, and who even had a high school yearbook with Moore’s supposed signature in it.

Allreed was later pressed on whether or not the signature was a forgery, to which she didn’t confirm or deny.

Then she was interviewed on MSNBC. After being pressed by Katy Tur once again as to the veracity of the signature, Allred makes a stunning admission: She doesn’t know for sure that Moore signed the yearbook.

Here’s her response after being pressed on whether she knows if the signature is valid: “You know, I don’t — I haven’t asked her if she saw him, but we did describe what happened that evening in question. What she alleges was that she put it on the counter; that I think she asked to sign — or that he did sign it. That’s all.”

This doesn’t help Allred’s case. She already has a reputation for backing women’s lawsuits against Republican men. Why didn’t she do her due diligence and consult experts to verify whether or not the Moore signature was real? Why didn’t she do her basic homework before taking the case?

These are all very relevant questions. The gaps in her competence, however, are one reason why Moore is refusing to end his campaign.

But really: When Gloria Allred is backing your accuser, why should you take it seriously?
