Liberal billionaire George Soros, who’s made a career out of financing amoral left-wing organizations like Media Matters for America and Planned Parenthood, is Jewish. And not only is he Jewish, but he survived the Nazi occupation of his native Hungary as a child.
However, despite his heritage and the atrocities that befell his community during World War II and the Holocaust, Soros seems to have absolutely no remorse about the fact that he stood idly by while an official in the collaborationist Hungarian government seized Jewish property.
During an interview for “60 Minutes” in 1998, Soros discussed the incident with Steve Kroft – and his reaction to the entire situation was bizarre, to say the least.
“My understanding is that you went out with this protector of yours who swore that you were his adopted godson,” Kroft said.
“Yes, yes,” Soros answered.
“Went out, in fact, and helped in the confiscation of property from the Jews,” Kroft continued.
“That’s right. Yes,” Soros responded.
“I mean, that sounds like an experience that would send lots of people to the psychiatric couch for many, many years. Was it difficult?” Kroft asked.
“Not, not at all. Not at all,” a smiling Soros said.
He was then asked if there were any feelings of guilt. “No,” Soros responded.

Later in the interview, Soros would backtrack that he was “only a spectator” and that he “had no role in taking away that property,” and due to that he “had no sense of guilt.”
But to smile about what happened to that Jewish family while he stood by and pretended to be Christian? Soros really feels absolutely no remorse for that? Not even survivor’s guilt?
That strangely dissociative reaction, Dinesh D’Souza recently tweeted, is the problem with Soros.
The issue isn’t what Soros did with the Nazis when he was 14. It is his complete absence of remorse for it as an adult https://t.co/jLDMjekGNe

Liberals have a tendency to inappropriately deal with the past. But Soros’s way of “dealing” with the Nazi occupation of his country speaks volumes about the type of person he is.
