5 Times Obama’s Response Showed He Doesn’t Give A Damn About Terrorism

Earlier this week, while the world recoiled in horror at the thought of yet another terrorist attack that killed dozens in Belgium, President Obama was simply passing the time away with very little regard for the dead, the wounded, or even those concerned that the same thing could be looming here in America.

The Political Insider’s own SooperMexican described Obama’s response to the terror attacks, which the President somehow managed to condense to under a minute.

He spoke for about 45 total minutes, often tossing out cheesy jokes, and only gave the terrorist attacks 51 SECONDS at the start of his speech!!

What’s more, Obama was caught capitalizing on a photo-op with his new BFF, communist dictator Raul Castro.

The press tried to pass it off as the President trying to defy terrorists by showing them they won’t disrupt the everyday lives of peace-loving people.

Of course, we all recognize that attempt at covering Obama’s embarrassing acts as a load of bull:

Obama’s 51-second, I’m-a-gonna-head to the baseball game while bodies are still being identified in Belgium effort isn’t the first time we’ve seen our fearless leader offer a tepid response to a terror attack.

Here are five other times Obama basically could have given a rip that people had been killed in a terrorist attack:

Garland, Texas

After gunman tried shooting up a ‘Draw Mohammad’ event in Texas, Obama waited a full day before … appearing on the David Letterman show and slamming police for causing riots in Baltimore. He also attended a fundraiser in New York, leaving the commentary to his Press Secretary.

Fort Hood, Texas

While the nation was stunned to hear of 14 people being killed (including an unborn child) as a result of the Fort Hood massacre, and 32 others shot during the attack, many expected to hear the grace and eloquence with which President Obama was supposedly known for at the time. He needed to comfort the nation.

Instead, in preparing to make a statement regarding the shooting at Fort Hood at the hands of the radicalized Islamist, Nidal Hasan, Obama did something that even NBC referred to as “frightening insensitivity.”

But instead of a somber chief executive offering reassuring words and expressions of sympathy and compassion, viewers saw a wildly disconnected and inappropriately light president making introductory remarks. At the event, a Tribal Nations Conference hosted by the Department of Interior’s Bureau of Indian affairs, the president thanked various staffers and offered a “shout-out” to “Dr. Joe Medicine Crow — that Congressional Medal of Honor winner.”  Three minutes in, the president spoke about the shooting, in measured and appropriate terms. Who is advising him?

Anyone at home aware of the major news story of the previous hours had to have been stunned.

The President continued to stun on the issue for many years, actually fighting to prevent the families of victims from obtaining medical benefits because his administration insisted on labeling the shooting “workplace violence.”

Charlie Hebdo

Over forty world leaders, a list including the likes of David Cameron, Vladimir Putin, Benjamin Netanyahu, and Angela Merkel, gathered in Paris to march with millions of French after the Charlie Hebdo attacks. But one leader was missing – President Obama.

Instead of marching arm-in-arm with other world leaders to show solidarity against the terrorists whose plot had killed a dozen people in a direct attack on free speech, Obama was nowhere to be found.

A week later, the President sent Secretary of State John Kerry to France, where he promptly embarrassed the entire nation by dragging James Taylor along to sing ‘You’ve Got a Friend’ to the French people.

When two NYPD police officers were shot execution-style by a Jihadi-inspired gang member, Obama happened to be on a golf course in Hawaii. Rather than cutting his round short and addressing the nation, the President finished up a few more holes before returning to the White House and issuing his usual call to not jump to conclusions.

James Foley

American journalist James Foley was savagely beheaded by ISIS terrorists in 2014. British Prime Minister David Cameron had the compassion and decency to cut his vacation short after learning of the Foley execution to host emergency meetings on ISIS in Syria and Iraq.

President Obama, meanwhile, issued a brief statement and then sprinted to the golf course. We’re talking 8 minutes after wrapping up his statement on the beheading of an American journalist, Obama was out yelling ‘Fore!’ in a pair of khaki shorts.

Fox reported, “White House correspondents said the president was on the golf course a mere eight minutes after finishing his speech.”

After receiving a plethora of criticism, Obama wouldn’t even say he had been insensitive about the issue, or admitted that he should have been concentrating on a terrorism response plan. Instead, he called it bad “optics.”
