Former NSA and CIA Director Michael Hayden is under fire after suggesting that Senator Tommy Tuberville should be “removed” from the human race over the Republican Senator’s ongoing blockade of military confirmations.
Tuberville (R-AL) has been blocking military promotions in an attempt to change the Pentagon’s abortion policy. He has received pushback not only from Democrats but weak-kneed Republican leaders who, every time a crisis crops up, blame him for blocking promotions.
They don’t ever blame the Pentagon for funding abortions.
Hayden responded to a question on the X social media platform wondering if Tuberville should be “removed from his committee” assignment over his actions.
“How about the human race?” he replied.
How about the human race? https://t.co/UCGCfF1lA3

Hayden Called Out For Suggesting Senator Tuberville Should Be Assassinated
It’s one thing for some rando on social media to make a comment like that. It’s an entirely different thing when somebody with close ties to the CIA suggests having a sitting US senator “removed” from the human race.
Just imagine if his last name was Kennedy.
Let’s repeat that: Michael Hayden, the former head of National Security in this country, former Director of the CIA, nominated by George W. Bush and having served under President Barack Obama briefly, publicly expressed his desire for Senator Tommy Tuberville to be taken out.
New York Post reporter Mollie Hemingway shredded Hayden for calling for Tuberville’s “assassination” while pointing out his role in the coverup of Hunter Biden’s laptop and his promotion of the Russia collusion hoax.

“For the people arguing that only govt and law enforcement should have guns, this retired general and former CIA director suggested killing a sitting senator,” wrote radio host Dana Loesch on X.

Political strategist Greg Price called Hayden an “absolute psychopath.”
This guy is an absolute psychopath.
And he was the director of the CIA!
These are the types of people who run our nation’s intelligence agencies. https://t.co/yx3wZo4GFs

Has Called For Executing Political Opponents Before
This isn’t the first time that the former CIA director called for the execution of political opponents he didn’t see eye to eye with. He also suggested former President Donald Trump should be executed for allegedly having nuclear secrets amongst classified documents in his Mar-a-Lago home.
Sharing an image of the Rosenbergs, convicted spies for the Soviet Union, which had been captioned, “Rosenbergs were convicted for giving U.S. nuclear secrets to Moscow, and were executed June 1953,” Hayden replied: “Sounds about right.”

Hayden also said it would be a “good idea” to send unvaccinated Trump supporters to an airport in Afghanistan that had been the site of several deaths.
Keep in mind – this man was at the absolute top of the national security apparatus, with enormous power.

Bloomberg News in 2014 debated whether or not Hayden was the “nation’s biggest liar” or an “unassailable patriot” while suggesting he may have lied to Congress during his 2007 testimony about the CIA’s ‘enhanced interrogation program.’
As for Hemingway’s comments about him being a “civil liberties violator,” Hayden was a fierce defender of the NSA’s spying programs, which were famously uncovered by Edward Snowden during the Obama administration.
Hayden also views Republican voters as comparable to the Taliban and actually the most dangerous group he’s ever seen throughout his career.
In 2018, Hayden equated border policies under the Trump administration to Nazi concentration camps.
