FedEx has refused to cave into the online anti-gun mafia by severing ties with the National Rifle Association (NRA), standing their ground in a statement released Monday.
Several other companies had joined the mob by cutting off discounts to millions of members of the pro-Second Amendment organization.
Delta, for example, recently ended their relationship with NRA members and may have cost themselves $40 million in tax breaks in a hilarious dose of karma.
The pressure continued for FedEx, however, with a constant barrage from online warriors who have been standing on the bodies of dead classmates to promote their political cause.
No matter who you are or what organization are I’d be a huge help if you changed your shipping service over to @USPS or @DHLUS or @UPS in support of us. In fact tweet out at companies that use only use @FedEx and demand action! Let’s get this done! #boycottfedex

Your move @FedEx. Is this really the side of history you want to stand on? Because you are on the wrong side. #BoycottNRA pic.twitter.com/nD9pR9Zl4X

The company, to their credit, issued a statement on Monday saying they weren’t caving into political pressure.
“The NRA is one of hundreds of organizations in our alliances/association Marketing program whose members receive discounted rates for FedEx shipping,” the statement reads. “FedEx has never set or changed rates for any of our millions of customers around the world in response to their politics, beliefs or positions on issues.”
Well, would you look at that – a business choosing not to discriminate against a certain segment of their customer base just because they might not agree with them politically.
What a concept!

To be sure, the company did couch their response by distancing themselves from some issues the NRA stands strong on.
“FedEx opposes assault rifles being in the hands of civilians,” they wrote. “While we strongly support the constitutional right of U.S. citizens to own firearms subject to appropriate background checks, FedEx views assault rifles and large capacity magazines as an inherent potential danger to schools, workplaces, and communities when such weapons are misused.”
Still, they won’t simply shut down their relationship with an organization they disagree with.
Fedex refuses to cut ties with the #NRA, even up against pressure from mislead liberals. . you better believe that Fedex will be targeted because of this. They’ll probably be trending soon. . So if you have a package to mail, Fedex is a good choice. This shows strength

FedEx will no doubt see an uptick in business from NRA supporters and people who rally behind basic free speech.
David Hogg, current poster boy for liberal lunacy, because Democrats are now led by a child with a loose grasp of facts, railed against FedEx for their decision.
“FedEx has still not dropped their deal with the NRA,” Hogg said. “…if they aren’t going to, we’re going to have to take action as the consumers because we have the power in a business, just as we have the power in a democracy.”
Guess what fella – NRA members are consumers too, and we have the same power.
I own a home and a vacation property. As we speak, I’m purchasing packages and having them shipped back and forth to those locations, just so I can give @FedEx and the @NRA more of my business and support. Eff you, #BoycottTheNRA losers.

The NRA released their own statement blasting businesses who exhibit “a shameful display of political and civic cowardice.”
It’s time supporters of the Constitution start fighting back. Any liberal who posts a list of companies that have dropped the NRA – print out that list and start conducting business with their competition.
It’s time to #StandWithTheNRA.
