Your eyes aren’t deceiving you – you are indeed seeing double. That is, two Trump dossiers!
The Guardian just broke a major story on how the FBI is in possession of a second – yes, a second – Trump dossier. From the report,
The FBI inquiry into alleged Russian collusion in the 2016 US presidential election has been given a second memo that independently set out some of the same allegations made in a dossier by Christopher Steele, the British former spy.
The second memo was written by Cody Shearer, a controversial political activist and former journalist who was close to the Clinton White House in the 1990s.
Well, well, well, is it any surprise a Clinton hatchet man is behind this second dossier, which only alleges many of the debunked claims listed in the first?

So, then, why is this news? We know the original Trump dossier, filled up with salacious claims about Trump capering around Moscow with prostitutes, engaging in the kind of sexual activity that would make your mother disown you, was never verified. In fact, the claims were so risible and outrageous, that the wannabe news site Buzzfeed was the only publication to actually publish the details, a clear reflection of the site’s pathetic editorial standards.
While the first Trump dossier was found to be unverifiable, apparently the FBI is still digging into this second memo. More from the Guardian story:
However, the Guardian has been told the FBI investigation is still assessing details in the ‘Shearer memo’ and is pursuing intriguing leads.
One source with knowledge of the inquiry said the fact the FBI was still working on it suggested investigators had taken an aspect of it seriously.
This looks like a desperate witch hunt. For nearly two years, the FBI has been investigating Trump’s ties to Russia. So far, nothing of substance has turned up. So the FBI is running in circles, trying to pin anything they can on the President.
