A Republican congressman who regularly appears on Fox News to defend President Trump has apparently snapped.

According to conservative commentator Erick Erickson, himself a former contributor at Fox News, a conversation with the congressman at a local Safeway grocery store sparked him to reveal that he “has privately decided he hates Trump and wants to unload.”

And unload he did.

“He is not happy with President Trump,” Erickson writes of the congressman who agrees to be quoted so long as he’s not named. “He was never a die-hard Trump supporter.”

Well, that could be just about any Republican member of Congress.

And then he unleashes on the President. The unnamed source starts off by indicating their belief that Republicans are going to lose in the midterms, and as such, they might as well impeach Trump. Except he doesn’t word it quite as gently.

“If we’re going to lose because of him, we might as well impeach the motherf***er,” Erickson relays.

Hey Erick, you sure this wasn’t just Maxine Waters wearing a Rand Paul Halloween mask or something? Geez, and Republicans want you to think the anti-Trump movement isn’t a real thing. It’s real, they’re just hiding it at this point.

The absolutely insane interview continues, with the GOP lawmaker comparing Trump, and by extension any and all of his supporters, to Forrest Gump.

Well, not exactly. He compared him to an alternate version of Forrest Gump.

“An evil, really f***ing stupid Forrest Gump,” to be precise.

“It’s like Forrest Gump won the presidency, but an evil, really f***ing stupid Forrest Gump,” he explains. “He can’t help himself. He’s just a f***ing idiot who thinks he’s winning when people are b**ching about him.”

Or maybe he feels like he’s winning because of his steadily improving approval rating? There’s that too. Or the fact that he won an election while every waffling Republican flake seems to be steadily watching their own careers head off into the sunset. Paul Ryan ring a bell?

But hey, it’s not their fault according to this Congressman, it’s Trump’s!

“Honestly, I wish the motherf***er would just go away,” he raged. “We’re going to lose the House, lose the Senate, and lose a bunch of states because of him. All his supporters will blame us for what we have or have not done, but he hasn’t led.”

“He wakes up in the morning, s***s all over Twitter, s***s all over us, s***s all over his staff, then hits golf balls,” he continued. “F*** him. Of course, I can’t say that in public or I’d get run out of town.”

Erickson remained committed to not providing the Congressman’s identity, but did reveal “he is not on the Judiciary Committee.”

What a remarkable coward this congressman is. To not only hide behind anonymous quotes but to out oneself as a blatant liar. If you don’t support Trump, then don’t go on television pretending you do.

Oh and while you’re at it – switch parties. When you sound like Waters or Hillary Clinton on steroids, it’s time to either reveal yourself or resign immediately.
