The major soap brand Dove has been hit with a boycott after hiring the radically liberal Black Lives Matter activists Zyahna Bryant despite her ruining the life of a white student over a remark that she later admitted that she “misheard.”

Dove Hit With Boycott

Daily Mail reported that Carole Thorpe of Charlottesville, Virginia started the boycott on Thursday after learning that Dove had teamed up with Bryant for a “fat liberation” campaign.

“After hearing that Dove Beauty chose Zyahna Bryant -who ruined Morgan Bettinger’s life – for their ‘fat acceptance ambassador,'” Thorpe wrote on social media. “THIS lifelong large lady & now former Dove customer tossed out the last three bars of Dove product she will EVER buy. I have written to Unilever too.”

Elon Musk, the head of X, formerly known as Twitter, weighed in to say that Dove hiring Bryant was “messed up.”

Bryant rose to fame in July of 2020, when she claimed that she overheard a white student named Morgan Bettinger threaten Black Lives Matter activists in Charlottesville. After gleefully watching as Bettinger was cancelled by the cancel culture mob over this, Bryant admitted that she may have “misheard.”

“Guess I’ve bought my last bar of Dove soap,” one social media user commented, with another adding, “I’ve stopped buying their products. Never again!”

“I’ll have to toss my Dove products and never buy them again!” a third user wrote, with a fourth commenting, “This woman put another UVA student through hell, and it was all a woke lie. Shame on Dove for hiring her. Worse than Dylan Mulvaney. #BoycottDove.”

This was a reference to the transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney, who has cost Bud Light over $400 million since it teamed up with her for a woke partnership earlier this year.

Bryant Hired As ‘Fat Liberation’ Ambassador By Dove

Bryant was ecstatic to announce last week that she had been hired as a Dove ambassador for a “fat liberation” campaign.

“#DovePartner Fat liberation is something we should all be talking about!” she wrote on Instagram. “That’s why I am partnering with Dove, to support the work of @naafaofficial, @flareforjustice in the Campaign for Size Freedom.”

“Tell us what Fat Liberation means to you using the hashtag #sizefreedom and tagging @dove to share your story,” she added.

Bryant wrote this alongside a video in which she said, “My belief is that we should be centering the voices and experiences of the most marginalized people and communities at all times.”

“So when I think about what fat liberation looks like to me, I think about centering the voices of those who live in and who maneuver through spaces and institutions in a fat body,” she continued.

Bryant’s History

Bryant’s website proudly boasts that she’s been a woke activist since she was a child.

“At the age of 12, she organized her first demonstration, a rally for Justice for Trayvon Martin and other unarmed black lives lost to police violence,” the website reads.

Dove is currently learning the hard way that “go woke, go broke” is very real indeed.
