President Trump Comes Out Swinging Against Tony Podesta

President Donald Trump is asking the right questions when it comes to the Russian collusion narrative. It was an alleged hack of the DNC’s servers that helped plant the seeds of what would become the Russian collusion narrative. Rather than have the FBI access and investigate their servers to determine the source of the hacking, the DNC rejected their offer in exchange for an analysis by the firm “CrowdStrike.” (RELATED: Hacker Kim Dotcom Says He Knows Who Hacked the DNC).

Former President Obama appointed Steven Chabinsky, CrowdStrike’s general counsel and chief risk officer, to his Commission on Enhancing National Cybersecurity, two months before Crowdstrike released their report that the DNC paid for.

The group Veteran Intelligence Professionals for Sanity (VIPS), which was founded in 2003 by former CIA, FBI, and NSA, published a memo questioning the “Russian hacking” conclusion that CrowdStrike offered.

Instead, they allege the DNC “hack” wasn’t even a hack at all, but an inside job by someone with access to the DNC’s systems. If that’s the case, it certainly explains why the DNC didn’t want the FBI looking into them. In part of a lengthy Twitter rant this morning over the bogus narrative of Russian collusion, Trump drew attention to that:

In his following tweet, he turned up the fire on the Podesta brothers. “…and why hasn’t the Podesta brother been charged and arrested, like others, after being forced to close down his very large and successful firm? Is it because he is a VERY well connected Democrat working in the Swamp of Washington, D.C.?”

Many forget that one of the Podesta brothers, Tony, had done some foreign meddling of his own in the 2016 election… aimed at damaging Trump. Just days ago, Judicial Watch released documents from the State Department showing that the Podesta Group was working on behalf of the pro-Russia Ukrainian “Party of Regions.”

According to Judicial Watch:

The new documents also show then-Obama White House Counsel John Podesta lobbying on behalf of his brother’s firm.

A March 28, 2013, email from now-Deputy Executive Secretary in the Office of the Secretary of State Baxter Hunt shows the Podesta Group, led by Tony Podesta, a Clinton bundler and brother of Clinton’s 2016 campaign chairman John Podesta, represented the Party of Regions, a pro-Kremlin political party in Ukraine.

Like Paul Manafort, who is currently under indictment in the errant special counsel Russia investigation, the Podesta Group had to retroactively file Foreign Agent Registration Act disclosures with the Justice Department for Ukrainian-related work. The filing states that the Podesta group provided for the nonprofit European Centre for a Modern Ukraine “government relations and public relations services within the United States and Europe to promote political and economic cooperation between Ukraine and the West. The [Podesta Group] conducted outreach to congressional and executive branch offices, members of the media, nongovernmental organizations and think tanks.” Unlike Manafort and his partner Rick Gates, the Mueller special counsel operation hasn’t indicted anyone from the Podesta Group.

Is there a double standard when it comes to Mueller prosecuting Democrats? That appears to be the case. Share this post on Facebook and Twitter!
