On Wednesday, a reporter asked President Donald Trump about “undocumented” immigrants not getting a government stimulus check that is part of the coronavirus economic rescue package.
And he had an obvious answer.
‘They came in illegally’
“Well, you know, you are saying undocumented, meaning they came in illegally,” Trump responded. “A lot of people would say that we have a lot of citizens right now that won’t be working, so what are you going to do?”
These “journalists” are such leftist activists.

Trump said the situation for illegal immigrants was something he felt bad about, particularly during tough economic times.
“It’s a very sad question, I must be honest with you, but they came in illegally and we have a lot of people that are citizens in our country that won’t be able to have jobs,” he explained.
President Trump added that he’s looking for the economy to bounce back quickly after the coronavirus subsides or is defeated.
“Its a really sad situation and it’s something we’re working on,” the president said.

AOC Not Happy That Illegal Immigrants Aren’t Getting Stimulus Checks
One person who isn’t happy that illegal immigrants aren’t getting coronavirus crisis stimulus checks is far-left Democratic Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
AOC tweeted last week, “To clarify, $1200 checks are ONLY going to some w/social sec numbers, NOT immigrants w/ tax IDs (ITINs). Thanks to GOP, these checks will be cut off the backs of *taxpaying immigrants,* who get nothing. Many are essential workers who pay more taxes than Amazon. Wall St gets $4T.”

AOC added in a follow-up tweet, “What Trump [and] Senate GOP have done is hold hospitals, working people, and the vulnerable hostage so they could get in $500 billion (that will be leveraged into $4T) in corporate welfare.”
“Without the Wall [Street] giveaway, GOP refuses to fund hospitals & unemployment. It’s inhumane,” she added.

No doubt, AOC will have plenty more to say on this subject and many others so long as Donald Trump is in the White House.
In the meantime, let’s hope Americans who need and deserve financial relief get it soon.
