Candi CdeBaca, a Democrat councilwoman in Denver, seemingly endorsed a tweet that supported infecting Trump supporters with coronavirus.

CdeBaca, the Democrat representative for Denver’s 9th city district, quote tweeted a tweet with a graphic that said, “for the record, if I do get the coronavirus I’m attending every MAGA rally I can.”
The councilwoman replied by writing “#solidarity Yaaaas!!” The original tweet was deleted, but at the time of writing, CdeBaca’s is still up.

The Denver Democrat was immediately slammed for her comments online, with many people calling on her to resign from her position.

CdeBaca is a Literal Communist!
CdeBaca has previously said that she believes in the “community ownership of land, labor, resources, and distribution of those resources,” and is “excited to usher it in by any means necessary,” which is the literal definition of communism.
The Denver Democrat has also praised the actions of Cuba, one of the remaining truly communist countries on the planet:
I’ve been in places where we’ve demonized people for being Communists. I’ve been to Cuba. I love Cuba. I love the way there’s not that rampant consumerism like we have here. But I do understand that Cuba, in the global context, they still have to deal with capitalism. They still rely on tourism. They’re still shut off from a world that’s making them think they’re missing out on something. But I don’t think rampant consumerism has served us well. I think there’s a clear problem with our structure, both political and economic. We’ve allowed the concentration of wealth through the concentration of political power.
Her tweet therefore shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone at all. CdeBaca is someone who supports literal communist ideology, and the implementation of it “by any means necessary.” That should really be the biggest red-flag – “any means necessary” doesn’t stop at violence. What also won’t be a surprise is when the Democrats do not force her to resign – unlike conservatives, leftists are never punished for speaking their mind.
